Nikon D300S or D2Xs - Any owners? What think?

Quick update: Enjoying the D300s + 17-55mm combo. Finally wrapped my head around the Kafkaesque menus and daft "Shooting Banks". Love the way it has been hewn from granite by dwarf craftsmen deep in the mines of Moria. Feels okay in my hand now.
I definitely need a longer/faster lens. Either 85mm f1.4 or 105mm f2 DC. If the former, quite tempted by a Samyang for beer money. What do you Nikonistas think?

With My D300 I haulded all the options I use in to the custom menu, It saves alot of time and button pressing.
THe Nikon 85mm f1.4 is in my opition the best lens that nikon make.
I have not used the 105mm f2 DC, I've seen some stunning shots taken with it. but I've heard it suffers from inaccurate autofocus, Again I'm only telling you what my freind who owned one told me!
