Nifty Fifty Challenge 2025 - Chat thread

Struggled big time on this one. But managed to sneak one in ;)

It's about as urban as I get round here I may well have to follow the "almost urban" theme. :coat:
Well I tried the train station, but that was meh... I didn`t want to do the usual multi storey car park either, so ended up with this. The Cathederal is in the BG though ;)

Very hard to try and get something a bit different, this one.

I wonder what @Gav. will surprise us with ;)

Sorry I've not been entering, not setting a good example am I  :$:coat:

Cor did I get a shot last night . . . is my photo really urban? . . . I reckon it is because it is in the urban environment. On hearing the gritter lorry coming I literally spun the tripod around and took the shot. I didn't even focus! My position was on a bridge over a complex of roads that go six-wide with another high bridge believe it or or not, this road being a filter road into a residential area. My first ever 'morse code' type photo and I'm super happy with it, especially considering the 50mm lens I use. Okay so the rest of the entries are really great, they always are, irrespective I am so glad I found and chose to participate in this gentlemen's competition. Often I don't want to go out and take photos, but I do for this challenge . . . and I invariably come back full of joy and frustration lol!!!

It was nice to take a prime lens out and try to get the right framing etc with it. 25mm in M43 =50mm FF. I had wanted to do it with film like the old days, but time was against me. Still, this is a nice challenge and is good for us, to be constrained by the focal length.

Mojo, for this seems to have left me. I didn't make it this month.
Good luck with future challenges.

I'd hoped to slip into town one evening this week but it's just not happened. Managed to find one from our visit to Great Yarmouth last week.

Is it March already,

Missed Feb Deadline.

DOH !
