Your normally one of the firstBloody hell, mate. Gimmie a chance
I`m just getting over the usual family spread of germs... Need it to be a bit breezy, for what I have in mind![]()
I know, but I just done Garry's lighting one, so won't be long sirYour normally one of the first
Breezy..?? It's the UK, shouldn't be long ..
Get well soon.

Question: Does the lens have to be intact after the image is captured? For example if the shutter speed is set to 'Bulb' and then the camera is dropped from a hot air balloon to capture motion during the decent, does it count? Asking for a friend![]()
In Bulb mode that could add some interesting blur as it bounces aboutTry tying it to a bungee cord and save you lens![]()
Slacking I guessWhat took you so long![]()
![]()
Top tip, make sure bungie cord is shorter than the distance to the ground...... wont make that mistake.... again.....Try tying it to a bungee cord and save you lens![]()

Sods law when you look for something and can't find it. It's under your noseI thought I wasn't going to get anything this month as my original ideas have already been done but we had a warm day and I put the overhead fan on in the dining room, hey presto a shoehorn. Phwew........
Thanks Paul, under my nose figuratively speaking because that was where my dinner was.Sods law when you look for something and can't find it. It's under your nose
Well done.

Hi David, edits are allowed, stacking and double exposures could be done.I assume some post-processing is allowed? Does that extend to using AI? As long as the final picture is taken using a nifty fifty lens.
Thanks for clarifying. I totally agree but I wanted to make sure.Hi David, edits are allowed, stacking and double exposures could be done.
AI is a can of worms, not sure I want to open it, if it's for minor corrections, colour, small clean ups etc. it's not really an issue, but, if it's using AI to add something that wasn't there, I'd have to say no, as it's about pure photography and using simple kit, I think if we allow Gen' Fill or AI additions it'll get messy.

I think if one uses AI then one should add the detail of what was done for openness.Hi David, edits are allowed, stacking and double exposures could be done.

I took this abstract image displayed on my computer monitor this afternoon. It was totally generated by playing with AI in photoshop.
I think it looks cool but breaks the whole point of the challenge.

I thought the nifty fifty challenge was about getting out and shooting photos with a basic lens. AI seems to defeat the object of it...

Hi, welcome along Chris, you're correct, 30-35mm on a crop body is close to the 50mm FFThinking of having a go I am new to all this so not 100% how it works I have started with a canon 400d with a 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 II am I right in thinking that shooting at 35 mm focal length is equivalent to 50 mm or am I miles off
