Hope you feel better soon.My excuse is a nasty cold and just being extra busy this Jan sorting a replacement car. Feb may be better.

Early days yet Wayne, I've got a safety shot but still thinking for something unusual. As you say 50mm doesn't lend itself to "perspective" type shots but that's tha challenge part of it.I'm struggling for ideas for this one. I've got one idea but it doesn't work with the 50mm focal length (on FF) it's more a wide shot. I'll have to have a serious think.
Yup the weather is and has been atrocious , waiting for a break as I have a spot that will fit the theme.I'm glad I got my entry taken early doors. The weather has been absolutely awful for most of this month with no sign of it getting better in the next fortnight.
The sun came out today! I thought I had a great idea for 'lines', but when I got near by, I thought, "It would look so much better on my 28mm lens". So I went and had coffee and cake instead.I'm struggling for ideas for this one. I've got one idea but it doesn't work with the 50mm focal length (on FF) it's more a wide shot. Just had a look at today's shots and they're all crap! Really boring, literally just felt like a load of pictures of things with no point at all. Looks like I'm back to the drawing board!I've been out today, not sure I've got anything decent but I've definitely got one or two shots that fit the theme. I'll have a look at them later, if there's one I like I'll pop it in the thread... if not, I'll keep them as bankers for another week or so![]()
I had a think and come up with a shot, the sun went in before I got there, but at least it stayed dry.The sun came out today! I thought I had a great idea for 'lines', but when I got near by, I thought, "It would look so much better on my 28mm lens". So I went and had coffee and cake instead.![]()
I've now thought of a smaller scale scene, possibly suitable for 50mm (FF) - just waiting for the next sunny day.![]()
Don't worry chaps, I've had another look and I've got one that I do quite like, so I have a banker if I can't get anything elseJust had a look at today's shots and they're all crap! EDIT: actually, there's one which I don't hate. I'll have another look at them in the morning, maybe I'm just a bit overtired...
The reason I put mine up now (which I only took on Thursday) is so I didn't get gazumped by someone (who got me last month

Near enough Roger, this is after all a fun challenge designed to possibly make us shoot outside our norms.Question. I am thinking of buying a 35mm lens which will give me a 52.5mm on apc, is this acceptable please?
