Looks like 1996 Jubilee Line stock :naughty:

Nice line of them :)

Lovely Jub(i)lee

I see what you did there! :D

Definitely ticks the boxes!

Thanks!

Nice image there. Lots of lines and angles

Cheers!

How to tell everyone you live/work in London without saying you live/work in London ;)
Did you consider a letterbox crop to remove the roof on the RHS ?

I did, and I shot an alternative excluding it, but I thought that between that and the handrail it leant into the idea of framing a little. I also tried for a couple looking wider to the right to frame it in a more obvious way, but the the sun was strong and low, and for all of the ZV1s strengths, dealing with lens flare isn't one of them.

Nice bit of sunlight to lift the image

Thanks. It was a pretty beautiful winter morning.

It is indeed 1996 stock. I got lucky and unlucky. The line was still there because of a fire alert at North Greenwich, which ultimately had me turn around and come home after getting de-trained at Green Park!

Nice shot Nick, it would probably make a banger of a drone shot

I bet it would. I'd love a drone, but I fear that it would primarily end up sitting in a bag due to lack of time to get out with it.

Lovely shot Nick. The low winter morning sun helps too.

Cheers!
The light is beautiful at the moment... If only it wasn't so damn cold.

good shot Nick, sky boosts its, red and blue what can go wrong

Time to get the screwdriver out. Nicely composed and a good set of tones.

That’s seen better days, like the contrast with the handle of the bolt

Like the DOF effect, almost chiaroscuro.

Nice colours and love the DOF

Thanks!
I did wonder if I'd pushed the saturation a touch too much, but I'm warming to it

I'm guessing those screws haven't worked loose, and it was just installed by someone who couldn't be bothered.

I can't help but wonder why they didn't make the whole bolt out of the handle material.

I agree with Dom, a little bit of maintenance needed there.
Works for the theme :)

Thanks!

Nice tight composition Nick.

Cheers!
It was going to be a little wider, but I cropped slightly to get rid of a knot in the wood that drew my eye.

Nice control of DoF

Thanks!
I was at F8, but there was still plenty of falloff at that range.

Well spotted! Interesting how the handle has not yet succumbed to the rust! Definitely need some new screws Good shot as I think it’s quite tricky to get an interesting angle on something like that.

I was a bit stuck for a subject, and just hoped the angle and DOF were enough to pull it off.

I’d like to say you’ve nailed it, but that wouldn’t quite work….

:D
Cheers!

Really nice shot. Great colours and perfect DOF.

Thanks!
Decay seems to have it's own set of colours!

That is cool ;)

Pretty good looking shipping container and the rest of the buildings are impressive. Tubes? on the racking above the container are interesting and LOOSE

Yeah, I've no idea what it is though

Interesting building!

I thought so. They're big on 'quirky' in that area.

I really should look up what it is, I've never seen it open, if indeed it's not just for decoration.

Niiiiiice :)

That's a very interesting building amongst others that would actually be fairly interesting in their own rights if they weren't overshadowed by this one..
That's a good find, well captured and I'm glad you weren't afraid to crop into the buildings. A more wide angle shot may have lost the impact imo.

Nice one Nick, the eyes are the windows of the soul...not so sure about googly eyes though... :D

I hope that's a Dentist's office, made me chuckle.
