Anyone just seen who the new doctor who is??

Was kinda hoping for a big name... or a woman... Kinda feels like the show needed to go up gears even more to cope with the loss of the total class that is David Tennant.

What do you all think?? :shrug:

i thought they were going to go with Paterson Joseph, the guy who was in survivors and used to be on Casualty..

never heard of this other dude, he better not suck

I'll be happy to give the newbie a few episodes. It took me a while to warm to Chris Eccleston as well, but Tennant is so full of energy as The Doctor it will be a hard act to follow.

Looking forward to David's last four outings.

Looks like a young Gordon Ramsey, with dark floppy hair..... and squarer jaw and bigger forhead.......

People said that about Tennant as Eccleston was so good so i'll wait and see,he has a lot to live up to as the last two doctors have been excellent.

Though it does have to be said, it's 90% about the script as Blink was the best episode by far and Tennant was barely in that

I'm no big doctor who fan, but this new guy just doesn't look right I don't think.

I think Chris Barrie would have been a good choice :D But then I sat watching a rather large amount of Red Dwarf last night :D
