Hi all,
I'm trying to use a Netgear router (dg834g v5) as a simple switch. From what i can make out the dhcp has to be turned off so it doesn't assign IP addresses to items on the Network. So..I have an ethernet cable coming from my BT homehub into the Netgear router (lan 1) then another going from the netgear (lan 2) to my pc.My problem is accessing the Netgear to make the changes I cannot for the life of me find the IP address of the Netgear!!
Does any of this make sense- what I'm trying to acheive is more ethernet sockets near my main pc for other things-thought it would be simple!!
Help please! Steve
