weekly NCF15s 52 for 2022 Week 52 Showcase

New - To infinity and beyond, great use of ICM

Old - The third one is my favourite though they are all worthy. It looks a bit like a toy scene.

Receptacle - Well handled lighting and clean background work well for this image

Bottle(s) - That's certainly a lot, great inspiration for still images. The equilibrium for me gets distracted by the one darker bottle.

That's fab :)

I used to set them up like that in my teenage air rifle days :)

I can't believe you dug them all out in one morning. Must have been an historic recycling centre :)
Lovely selection of muted colours you've captured.

Nice to see someone using film. The framing is tight, I'm curious to see more top left.

Niuce one Nick.

Wow! Getting an MF shot souped in the few days since the challenge! RESPECT!!! I like the shot too.

Nice image Nick, B&W certainly brings out the texture of the rusted chain

Nice to see film in use, I have the Haynes build it yourself TLR camera to try soon.
The main hook going in and out the frame distracts a bit,

You're a braver man than me Nick, I haven't taken a film camera out in a decade. I think that I agree with Paul, I'd like to see what's happening at the top of the shot.

That looks lovely viewed large. Really nice tones.

Some nice textures in there when viewed via Flickr

Lovely tones and textures and an interesting subject.

I like this. The dog adds interest and the processing fits the look on the dog's face.

Yes, nicely processed - lifts the shot from what I suspect might otherwise have been quite drab light.

This ticks the boxes, but like many, not a lot you can do with what you have locally. Processing makes it different. Looks like the dog does not want to be there with his ears down and tail between his legs.

Pete

Don't know that I'd want to meet that dog in a dark alley (good thing it looks like you were there in that daytime... :) ). I like your gritty post processing

This is his oh no he's got his camera out again look.

Nice shot - always ncie to get a pooch pic :)

Great dejected alley and dog! I like the desaturation - it adds a gritty realism

The colour and processing works well and fits the dejected look on the dog. I also liked the image zoomed in to put the dog on the bottom right third which removes the roof and sky at the right.

That fits the theme Nick.
Well taken from a good angle.

I know that place ;)

Taken a few of that myself, but not as good as this and walked past this on a Cardiff Bat circular walk on Thursday. I'll know the angle next time!

That's a heavy link you've got there Nick. An interesting POV too.

Yep that's a belter :)

Great Image, feels heavy. Did the ship get blown away by Storm Eunich

Right on theme ... love the composition

Nicely done.. the perspective really gives it impact.

Heavy: That looks huge! Great viewpoint.

Alley: I love this. The desaturated processing adds to the atmosphere. Poor dog - 'hurry up and get your picture then'. Much more patience than my family ha ha!
