weekly NCF15s 52 for 2022 Week 52 Showcase

Nice shot Nick. I toyed with the idea of going to Monknash to get the lighthouse there, but events overtook me.

A really good shot Nick, the choice to use backlighting was perfect.

Great idea, Well executed.
You got the angle just right.

Great capture. Tried to get something similar on the ferry but nothing anywhere close to as good as that.

Heavy - It definitely conveys the theme well with a great level of detail

Light - Good multiple interpretations of the theme, I normally think of a lighthouse being a taller structure

Double light here. I like the viewpoint you've chosen, so the sunlight is in just the right spot and looks like you were blessed with some lovely weather!

Heavy - a great image, real power there and the composition is spot on.
Light - really like this (apart from the fence, but nothing you can do about that), hits the theme on levels.

Their angle makes it a interesting image and works well with the out of focus background.

Nicely sharp against the background. Can't go wrong with daffs. Ticks the box nicely.

Daffs would just be daffs but the water droplets make a nice image. Box ticked :)

One of my favourite first signs of Spring. Good image Nick.

Wonderful picture. Is it a type of finch?

Male bullfinch, we have a pair regularly at the feeder this time of year.

Wow! cracking shot. Saw my first bullfinch for many a long year about 12 months ago, and seen a few since - maybe they're making a comeback around here.

Really well composed to lead the eye. Makes a change to see some sunshine!

Nice line of them Nick.

I really like the depth in that, and the light works great.

Noticed this banana skin hanging out of a rubbish bin outside our house and thought that will do.
Before anyone asks sbwriel is rubbish in welsh ( I think), not sure how it's pronounced. .

Very well spotted.
Great image and it certainly fits the brief.

I think W is a U in Welsh. But more of an OOO sound than a YOU sound. SO I think SBOORIEL. But that's just a guess.

However you pronounce it, it's a great image. I love the viewpoint too. I think I'd have been tempted to shoot it straight on, but I think this is better.

Even after google translate, I have no idea about the Welsh language. Great shot, well spotted.
