Canals do not generally flow, which is why the freeze in the winter.
Is the Kennet & Avon in flood, or is this part a navigatable riber that has been used as part of the canal?

Lovely shot and B&W conversion. As others have said the birds really draw the eye in to. I think I'd perhaps remove the bird on the far left of the frame and the odd floater in the foreground to focus in on the minimalism. But ideal shot for the theme.

Winston Churchill, has one of the old x04 motors but still works well if a bit noisy. The original smoke generator has unfortunately burnt out.

Great concept and technically good. For me it feels a bit too processed and photoshopped, I'd probably have preferred a more "rough and ready" approach in keeping with the vintage theme. There it is, in the eye of the beholder.....
