Yeah but own up, you'd do it if you thought you'd get away with it.
I know I did in my biking days![]()

God what a nanny state we live in.
So when are they going to ban children from cars they have to be the biggest distraction of all.
All of which can earn you a spanking
Right thats it then, the kids can walk from now on. I'll meet them there.
That's the spirit.
It'll be character building!
Didn't have to worry about smoking in cars back then did they, cos there weren't cars lolAgreed! Makes up for them loosing out cleaning chimneys. We didn't worry about the smoke from the fire while scrubbing half way up when I were a lad. Made us work faster!
Thought so

Glad to have given you a little pleasure this eveningYour outrage and my pleasure.
Oh absolutely it shouldIt should be a criminal offence to burn nerve-agent enriched substances.
Don't forget the £1.5 billon or whatever it is to the EUGlad to have given you a little pleasure this evening
Oh absolutely it should
But I fear for the government losing all that tax to fund
the less well off, students and a myriad of other projects
So I guess I am also outraged on behalf of the NHS, colleges / Uni's
etc that won't be getting the funding they need![]()
Thanks MikeDon't forget the £1.5 billon or whatever it is to the EU![]()
That sounds like a hanging offence to me.Dead right, what's even more annoying is a old git in a BMW 730d F01 in white blacked out rears with 19" wheels doing 28 mph in a 30.![]()
True enough, we get the 40mph-ers "everywhere" around here too.No, it's normally 40 in a national limit and 40 in a 30 around here.

9/10 they are either wearing a flat cap or trilby as well
(I'd just thought I'd add a bit stereo type in case I haven't managed to offend every one yet tonight)

My dad smoked. My oldest sister died at 42, my mum and dad died of cancer, my other sister has had issues, all have been related to my dads smokingOh the children, will someone please think of the children. My mother is nearly 60 and her father smoked in their family car start to end of journey and she is with us cancer free.
How does my smoking in my own car affect you?I'm going to say the obvious but what about the liberties of non smokers. Why should they're health be damaged because someone else likes a fag? Unfortunately its a habit that doesn't just effect the person doing it. I'd like to ride my bike really fast but I'm not allowed to because bit could harm me or others. What's the difference?

For every "argument" the is a counter one thoughMy dad smoked. My oldest sister died at 42, my mum and dad died of cancer, my other sister has had issues, all have been related to my dads smoking
But should the need arise for whatever reason, Yvonne has the answer![]()
Thats the safest bet TBH,BTW I just like the option of making it kid-free too.
No screaming, no puke, no spilled juice or sweets stuck to the seats.
Result, Sarah!!!

You smoking in your car doesn't effect me personally, thank God. But what about others. If you don't share your car then fair enough. I know its YOUR car but if you are going to give anyone a lift you should inform them if you will be smoking in the car so they can refuse. If you take children then you shouldn't smoke in your car at all. I worry though that people will put up with smokers in cars through fear of being rude. I do think SOME smokers can be very selfish though, as long as they can have their fag, which isn't cool anymore, screw anyone else. How does my smoking in my own car affect you?
I agree about the children, I have been a smoker for years but have never smoked indoors (except in pubs, but not in restaurants) and not in the car when our kids were young. However I do now smoke in my car and if anyone wants to walk or get the bus rather than ride in my car they can.You smoking in your car doesn't effect me personally, thank God. But what about others.
