a fine achievement Pete! I hope some of the 'we hate Pete' cheerleaders have the grace to be pleased for you!
For sureLemme know when you get a copy and send me a PM.

I was in Liverpool last Sat looking round all the Biennial art work, most of it went way over my head but I'm a bit traditional when it comes to art, I like to be able to tell what something is!! I much preferred the beauiful buildings over the art. Looking forward to getting the book.

Hi Pete,
Pretty cool book. Picked up a copy in Waterstones last night after seeing it. Some cracking pics in there. As a Manc who has lived in Liverpool for five years now I have come to appreciate the place, and I think your book captures the flavour of the City very well.
Have the copies that you have got a shaded rectangular bit on page 82 that has black speckles in it? Almost like the portrait shot of The Matthew St Festival 2006 has been put over a shaded out landscape pic / box.
Nice one!

haha. Grey imports are bad mmmkay![]()
Signed, no probsI agree about art. Its one of the things I say about my work. You don't need to appreciate art because its just nice photos of Liverpool and I felt that there weren't many people really standing up and showing off the city as a whole. I know there are people doing so and thats what I wanted my contribution to the Capital of Culture to be. "This is Liverpool every day of the year." We're not just 2008.

Wow cool. First person I know to have bought one. AwesomeAs for p82 I don't have that. Are you sure its not due to the previous page? My copy should be the same as retail.

Congratulation Pete you must be very pleased, and we all know what your giving everyone for Christmas this year now.

Congrats Pete, you're clearly well-chuffedI'm buying a copy - nice to have books in the bookcase you can point to and say "I sort of vaguely know the author..."
Now, if I enclose a return address label, and stamps, where do I send it to get signed?![]()
Nice one Pete, I've just been down to Waterstones to get a copy, good choice on the cover photo, it really stands out from all the other 'Liverpool' books.
I've seen most of the photos before from you posting on here and you blog, but it's superb to see them all together (and with the quality prinitng, sometimes the computer screen doen't do them justice).
The foreword by Andy Roberts made me chuckle, I used to live next door at Number 62, although I suspect he was long gone by time I lived there.
