Daily MWHCVT(Matt's) - The Year of the Thousandth

Very ni8ce sky, I'm hoping that I got a sunset worth showing this evening, was a bit rushed

Thanks Sarah glad you like it  I'm sure rushed or not you'll have got something great

Finally manged to catch up with your 365 today. Lots of excellent photos. I'll keep an eye on this

Thanks hope you've enjoyed catching up

That sky's gorgeous! The green looks stunning against it too.

That's something I've always wondered... and if I ever got a photo, it was pure luck! How do you get both sky and ground exposed correctly?

Like it Matt  Is there some fringing on the clouds?

Thanks Jake, I cannot see any fringing where are you looking?

Todays shot is bloody awesome Matt , great choice of composition and lovely sky also!! Love the venue

Thanks Vince, We'll have to get over there again soon

Thanks Toni, if your facing away from the sun you should be good to go on most occasions  if not you'll find an ND grad a good bit of kit to have, though that said I've not touched mine in months, I tend these days to under expose a little on the landscape to get the sky reasonably exposed, then pull some detail out in PP and maybe if needed add a digital ND Grad in  I've been doing things this way since I learnt more about RAW processing

Purple outline on the top left cloud. I could be wrong, I wouldn't have thought your camera/glass combo would fringe!

Ah yeah I see where you mean now, I think that's just down to my processing I did chuck a little magenta into my digi grad ;) give the colours a little more pop :D
