Day 13 - Astro Flower

I found this little plant at the local garden centre and thought that it would help me get my first flower hit of the year, I love taking photo's of flowers and this bright little star was just what I needed today, as may have to send my long lens to the lens doctor :'( less than a week before the annual whipsnade meet, to be safe I've booked another lens for a week :thumbs:

I initially thought "green" straight away but now you've said it's supposed to be yellow, I went back to look and it does look more yellow than green but easy to mistake them :lol: I like it! My mum and I had an argument in the airport tonight; she called my suitcase blue. I say it's green :lol:

Would have liked to see a bit more focus of the centre of the flower:thinking:maybe?

Im always going to appreciate flowers Matt, lovely colours in this . Flowers are something I am going to have to practice more.

Flowers are always a good choice! I can't help but finding the background a bit distracting on this one though. Great colours however!

Day 14 - Saint's and Snow

This is the church in my village, this is All Saint's Church, I'm not exactly a godly person but I do love to take photo's of Churches, both exterior and interior photo's and it's an added bonus this afternoon to have a little bit of snow on the ground...
