Yep it does get better, best advice I was given was just to talk about them & remember good times.
I know how you feel mate, it's my little bro's anniversary on Monday, and were going to NMA as we've had a tree planted in memory of him.... Chin up buddy, just remember then good times..

Some nice colours in there Matt, I like the composition but I wonder if it needed a little moor dof? Unless the upload has played games with it.
Have you seen this by the way? Could well be a good view from the windmill![]()
Excellent, lets hope for clear skies!
Lovely photography Matt and a very fitting Memory !

phil_b said:Ohh, do like the star trails Matt. This is something I really have to try soon.
Sonriendo said:Never tried this, but what are the diagonal lines coming down from the top right hand corner?
Gr8Shot said:does this need some lens correction as the steeple looks to be leaning a lot to me????
whipspeed said:Something I've never tried, but this year I really must have a go. Will just have to scope out a good location with not too much light pollution.
Ok you've got the verticals converging on this, but I like it.
Super star trail Matt, is there much differnce in using iso 2000 to anything lower, in terms of the number of stars being picked up by the sensor?
Awesome photography once again Matt
I love star trails and this one works really well on the whole!
I haven't! I live right in the inner city (5 minute up the road from the main city center) so always thought I'd have no luck (light pollution etc?).. the perks of Edinburgh is that wide open spaces are never too far away but I have no form of transport other than my own 2 legs!
Stunning Matt!
Your picking up quite a few of the dimmer startsthe next time its clear, I'll shoot some comparison photo's

Thought it was something to do with that, just couldnt remember lol. I have only ever stuck to 800 on my 30d and 50d, will have to give it a try at higher iso.
Lovely colours in that windmill sunset, it's a great image.
Sorry to hear about your mum, but I like how you lit a candle for her. A lovely tribute, and the flowers look great too.
That star trail church image is just EPIC!
