How did you shoot that Christmas Speed shot? I was thinking maybe hand held but you would need a long left arm, would you not?
Or passenger?

It was quite simple really just a case of securing my camera on my tripod out of the car window :thumbs:
 
Day 349 - Get the Measure

Getting the measure of my challenge, it's hard to believe that this year is so close to be ending, honestly it's been a awful year so I'll be glad to see the end of it :thumbs:

I quite like the idea for today, it's a back up idea that I had forgotten till I just walked past the measure :lol: and as for 2012, it has had it's good points but they're far out weighed by the crap that this year has brought :(

Day 350 - Faithful Friend

This is one of my dad's bronzes, with focus on a faithful friend looking over the edge of the boat as his master reels in his catch :D

Day 351 - Snow Glow

Starting to get a little festive now, so I present to you here and LED glowing snow man, it glows many different colours but here it is while in transition so you can see quite a few different colours

Thanks Kev, it's thus far the best thing I've found about my new black granite work tops in my nearly complete new kitchen, what I don't like it how every little spillage shows up like mad on them :bang:
 
Now I know its a reflection ..... thought i was seeing a double ended snowman!! Great shot and colours - definitely getting festive now :) Super shine is great for black granite but as you say - one heck of a pain to keep shiny :(

To be honest this year has been crap so I'm finding it very hard to get festive but slowly getting there ;)
 
same here :( but next year is going to be better - I'm sure it will be and if it tries to be crap like this one then I'll MAKE it better lol. Am working right up to Christmas Eve so I might get festive by Boxing Day lol .... Am going to try some portraits on Christmas Day of my Daughter - should be fun :)
If it is a crap day we can all meet on here and have a 'virtual' party :D - even better than a 'real' one - no tidying up after and no damage from drunken guests lolol

Well I'll be online on Christmas Day :D not really looking forward to the day if I'm honest :( it's our busiest work period but currently I've got 24-26th off which is a rarity ;)

Missed this one Matt, looks pretty cool, would look even better with a load if tail lights in there :thumbs:
 
well no doubt we will be online as well - we tend to treat the day as any other. Stepson goes off to his mums and my daughter pops down and thats about it. 6 Grandchildren live other side of country and the youngest two are going to be away for christmas so wont see them till the week after :( Im not back to work till the 28th so should be able to get out with my camera and get some decent shots of somewhere ...... anywhere :)

It's a shame not not really possible, as your following any cars, what would be cool would be to follow exactly the car in front :D

:lol: all I know is my sister is coming round and cooking dinner the rest I've not got a clue, and truth be told I don't really care :suspect:
 
well get in the car and drive up to Blackpool and we can all sit here and do 'The Grinch' together :D
