Matt..... If you must know...Carol took the photo and couriered it over to me by overnight frog .. Asking me to post it...as...as...a.s... She was having trouble with a fault manhole cover in her airing cupboard.... Hence ..why it LOOKS like I posted the jcs ...

Was out this evening driving round the local town getting some funny looks but what the hell I'll be out doing it again soon as this didn't work quite how I wanted :(

still a fantastic shot!! (even if you think it didnt come out as you wanted it to) Love it :)

(Ps Im Teetotal so never had a drop pass my lips....... selling on ebay to finance my camera 'habit' is another story though lol)

Neat shot.. But did you have the camera on a stick or tied to the roof rAck..

I must admit, I do like a drink, but don't actually partake very often.. glad you like it, I like the photo too, but I can see room for improvement ;)

It was on my tripod, that was out the window and tied down :D
 
I honestly dont drink .... when out Im either dancing or taking photographs - need to be sober for both - northern soul dancing isnt exactly the slowest of dancing and you need your wits about you with people next to you spinning and backdropping lol

Really need to learn some of these tricks :) You lot are a bad influence .... am now looking at everything and wondering how to shoot it and make it 'different' in some way .... thats good really but not when cooking dinner lol

Now that's funny as to get me on the Dance floor I have to be very drunk :lol: glad that we are making you think about the fun side of photography, it's a shame you should have come on the meet last Sunday :D
 
Warwickshire is a bit far though :( I think everyone should travel up to Blackpool for a meet - 'lovely' B&Bs here and some wonderful sights

No :( last Sunday, I along with Darrell (thedodo) my cousin-in-law put on a massive night meet in north yorkshire, we had at least one Blackpool member on the meet :thumbs: and I put on a blackpool illuminations meet in October too :thumbs:
 
I have just seen the thread :( would have enjoyed that one. Ahhh the Illuminations ...... have always wanted to get some shots of them and even though Ive lived in Blackpool nearly 13 years I still havent had the joy of that :( Will do next year though definitely. We tend to stay away from the Prom area when they are on - way too much traffic. If you are having any in the Blackpool area please let me know :) I have been searching the internet for interesting places to visit that I didnt really know about and found a couple so they will be a few hours out when I have a day off :)

thats it matt.... carol's got the whiff of steel wool.... she'll be sneaking about with a dog lead before you know it and a whisk in her handbag.... she could strike at any time..... just like the jaffa cakes.... :nuts:

I will do, ironically we also had this years Talk Photography Convention in Blackpool, but that was in May...

I don't know where it will be in 2013, but for 2012 I commissioned a 12 inch Jaffa Cake Cake :D will be going bigger for 2013 :naughty:
