Yep, all good out here.
Less than a month until I leave.
Barely had chance to use the camera in the last few weeks!
Good luck with the 365, seems to be going well so far. :)

Where you off to next then? thanks it's going well, but this year is going real fast

Day 209 - Morehen :suspect:

This afternoon I headed back to Hatton to try and do the moor hen's and their chicks some justice compared to my previous efforts' when I was first at Hatton there were four little black balls of fluff, today I only managed fleeting glances of two, they seems very timid and hid for most of the time, this makes me thing that maybe there had been some recent predation causing them to be on edge

Day 210 - A Family Affair

This afternoon Thedodo plus his two little Girls my little nieces went out for a ride down to the Cotswold to check out the lavender fields, because of other commitments we couldn't spend that much time there :( so we are hoping to get back there later in the week or maybe next weekend

Need to be quick Matt, they were supposed to harvest this weekend...!

I may we head down on Monday then in the hope that there is still some there :D

The Lavender field makes a great setting, wish we had that in more places.

Thanks Michael, I've just stuck this one on facebook since it has family in it and it's gone down really well :D this one would be a bit of a journey for you though :( maybe there is one closer to you  gotta be worth a quick google search

Had a look but can't seem to find any. Are you ready for tomorrow?

Well I've got clean cards an a couple of batteries on charge if that counts as ready :D truth be known I've had a bad neck for 2 days now and it's really starting to affect me a suspect a trip to the doctors on monday to work out what on earth I've done to it so not sure exactly how much I will do tomorrow but I will be there :D

All my batteries were dad after a little bit of picture taking in the garden, found 1 duff battery.

A nice day of fresh air should do the trick  Maybe you have trapped a nerve or something.

You know full well that I'm useless as spelling :( I'm wondering just how old you think I am :suspect:

Great stuff since my last visit, Matt; love the contrast in 206 between the stars and the georgian architecture.

Really like the colour in 210 - shame your niece looks so unhappy :)

Thanks Tony, 206 was a real challenge I think it came out well, in 210 it's a shame to say but my niece doesn't do smiles at least not when uncle Matt has a camera in hand :(

Matt

I figured you were about the same age as me (39) - but its possible you are younger but not aging so well

Day 211 - We will never forget

This is a photo of the Falklands Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum, I saw this gentleman heading towards the memorial as I was setting up my photo and when he started to stay still for an extended period of time I decided that a long exposure was going to be the best option for this, I managed to time it just right as I wanted the long figure to become a ghost in the scene and the unwitting model did exactly what I was aiming for :D

That's worked really well Matt, an excellent photo of the day.

Thanks Michael, I'm really pleased with how this had come out :D just need to process some more now :D

That is AMAZING!!! I love this shot. This for me has a lot of power in it. For a bit of an unintential shot (I reckon) this is beyond good.

Totally intentional  I saw him coming as I was setting up and he stopped still just as long as I needed him to

Day 212 - History in Motion

It's not every day that you get a fly past of a historic airliner like the Lockheed L-188 Electra so although this is not the best photo ever I was pleased to catch it

Quite a nice plain that Matt, nice capture. Don't think I have seen that one.

There are not that many of them around anymore :( but I'm lucky to have some flying examples based at my local airport :D

Nice catch, im guessing this is the same one i was shooting whilst it was on the ground a while back, as i cant imagine many going into bagington
