Marsha, lighting was a real problem - I was in the garden with the sun disappearing behind the house. Used a reflector picking up what sun there was.Mmm, I think I prefer number one as I the lighting is much better (what did you do? I'm rubbish with portraits) although maybe just a little more bottle needs to be visible!
Now could I be wrong in thinking that's a cheeky dust bunny in number one on her right cheek?
Capturing the rainbow involved running along the beach to put myself in the right position - so that it looked like the rainbow emerging from the rock.i prefer number one the fact she is looking away from the camera helps its as if she is hiding the fact she is drinking.
On another note how on earth did you capture that rainbowxx
In #1 the bottle is really 'in the way' so it's #2 for me![]()

Good shot and bang on theme, I like the framing and use of the depth of field to lead the eye straight into the frame, I don't know though if it could have been even better with someone in the frame about to go through the entrance though? Or even a car driving into it?
Dunno why but I wanna see the bike going away from you................there's always one awkard so n so & it's usually me

Yup this entrance shot is the winner for me, like Lynne says the symmetry is excellent. It's a shame the council didn't think about photography when they stuck that traffic flow arrow on the left side of the bridge:bonk:
Hello Mike,
I really like 'Entrance' (last edit) it works. Great composition and viewpoint.
'Soft' - The teddy shot lighting is sublime, I really like the way it falls on the fabric. The exposure is nicely balanced for the outside to so not only is it technically good its very pleasing. I think this would make a good stock image.
