Just want to warn those who are thinking of buying from them online. Ring them to make sure they have the items in stock before punching in your card details.

Getting myself a billingham and considering they are the cheapest and their website is showing it to be in stock, I then proceeded on purchasing it.

Two days went on and the status was still the same (web page states that if purchase before 3pm, item will normally be dispatched the same day). Decided to drop them an email to query and got a reply saying they don't have it in stock!

Nonetheless, requested for a full refund and was told the full amount will be credited to my account in 3 to 4 days.

What annoyed me is that I've specifically added a message during the purchase process to contact me if they don't have the bag in stock! What's funny is that my previous experience with them is the same, as in I need to contact them for updates! Should have learnt from past experience and don't get tricked by the low price! :D

Anyhow this IMO, is not how a customer should be treated!:nono:

No matter where I buy from, I always call to confirm the item is in stock. My experience with Morrisphoto has always been very very positive.

I have to say this must have been an off day for them as I have spent a LOT of money with them and have nothing but good experiences.

Cheers

Simon

Well it's great you guys have good experience with them but I'm just sharing my experience with fellow members.
As mentioned, always ring to check the stock!

Ditto above positive comments.... even exchanged a bag for me long after they had to.

I must admit, the only 2 online stores I use are Morris Photo and Warehouse Express. I have spent 1000s with them over the past 4 years and have had no problems with either. I would not trust anyone else.

I too have nothing but high praise for Morris Photographic. I have always had great service.

You are entitled to your opinion, as we, who have had good service, are entitled to ours.

When I first went into business, I was advised that one happy customer will tell 10 others and an unhappy one will tell 30.

I had the same experience with 'Camera World' (www.cameraworld.co.uk).

First time I used then the item came within a couple of days but I then ordered a lens from them - the website said in stock but when it didn't show I called them and was told it was out of stock due to the Japanese earthquake.

Did get a refund but only after I'd chased them up. A simple email or website update would have helped!

Haven't used them since.
