Initial City Link.

Congrats you bunch of wasters:bat: . I've been waiting in all day for you muppets because I really don't want to drive to Gateshead to pick up my light stands:bat: . I check my tracking at 4:30 and apparently you've been and got back to the depot already, nobody was in and you dropped a card through the door. Lying *******s:bang: . I was in and if you dropped a card through the door then I guess the tooth fairy must have taken it away with my milk teeth. I waited in for your non-arrival instead of driving to work to collect my new flash gun.

Best bit, I phone the depot to see where my effing parcel is and they say the driver has been and nobody was in. "Balls" says I, "I've been in all day". Oxygen thief on the phone asks what colour my door is? "White" says I. Yes the driver reports going to a house at your address with a white door and leaving a card. Oh you oxygen thief, it must have been my house with the white door because I'm the only ****er in the country with a white ****ing door.:bang:
 
Had a similar problem with them a couple of times, they have a depot this than 6 miles from my home address yet they don't knock at the door and take the parcel to a depot 40 miles away, total morons!!!!

your lucky though i usually get through to an automated line which is less than any ****ing use, if i want to make a phone call to talk to someone i do nto want to be left talking to a computer, as that does not help!
 
That doesn't surprise me at all. Of the two experiences I have had with them, they didn't come when they said they would, so I waited in all day for nothing, and the other time, they stole my goods - the driver apparently left the item but couldn't remember where, and had no signature!

I've never had the option of a phone number, always had the robot, tried to change the delivery address before, failed miserably, tracked the parcel the following day to find it was in Norwaich, I live in Cornwall!

Maybe we should all write a combined letter to them to let them know how crap they are, a little portfolio of there c@ck ups :lol:
 
oh dear, I must be unique in being the only person to ever had nothing but great service from Initial City Link. At work, we have a local guy that worls for them, so he knows us, which always helps, but even at home we have had no problems. However, complain if they are being muppets.
 
Did you pay for the delivery? Consumer Advice / trading standards should be made aware, methinks, hehe.
 
Sh!tty Link as I like to call them. Worst couriers ever, had to send a couple of laptops back as they were destroyed by City Link - screens /cases broken and bits falling out of the box when opened.

I won't order from anyone that uses them.

a friend of mine tells me that the military are used to train UPS drivers to drive up to your house, get out the van, sneak up to your door, knock, write a card, put in your letterbox, and clear off again completely undetected
 
**** Link once delivered parcel 1 of 2 to my place of work in Stevenage & parcel 2 of 2 to their depot in Carlisle. Took them a week to sort it out .

I've never had a problem with citylink here.
I've even had them knocking to deliver a parcel as late as 20:00hrs.

Are you sure you have a white door? ;)
 
I have to agree with Kev here, I know some peeps have had success with City Link but they are totally useless in my book.

I said it in an earlier post, I will say it again, We have lived here for 27 years now and according to City Link there isnt such an address as ours...:cuckoo:

:lol: ahhh, now that I can associate with. According to Home Delivery Network, TWICE, this house, which was built in the 40's and been in the family since the 60's, doesn't exist either :cuckoo:
 
Up here CL use another company to do their deliveries and they are generally pretty good.
