Think its all hype tbh Rich, just been out up Buckstones ( up past Scammy on tops) seen nowt :rolleyes:

Forecast for the Aurora was anywhere from the Midlands north. They're just discussing the web site on another thread on the forums, looks like its crashed

Well it was clear skies here, saw nowt :( although I did think the light pollution looked a little different :thinking: a bit more pinky in colour.........unless I was just willing it to look different :D

I know I should but work and free time never seem to coincide with the meets..............:arghh:

I'd be up for something this afternoon Phil, your new vantage point looks good. Maybe do the wire wool down in the tunnel after sunset? There may also be some light trails to be seen from buckstones car park.

@Phil-D not looking good mate I'm going to have to pass on this one also got some work to do got a big week at work this week but off 2 weeks for easter after that to make up for it.

Good do Dan (y) How does about 6ish sound on the bridge? Then we have time to get set up before sunset :)

Wire wool and orbs would be good up Buckstones but I've had a quick go at light trails, the cars are too far and few between :D

Another very enjoyable couple of hours (y) Sunset was good, tbh I'm thinking my photo didn't do it justice :thinking:

@drooke, Dan had some filters so hopefully got some photos of the sunset with light trails, which should look very good (y)

I finish work on Thursday and am off to Wales with Jackie and Isabelle on Monday. Mention has been made of a meet towards the weekend. MIGHT be available if here is. I suspect it would not be a full day, maybe Fewston Reservoir ?

Not fully committed as I have a few meets arranged already but thought I'd put some feelers out :clap:

That's a bit of a mixed up message Andy. Are you free or not? Seems like your wanting to arrange something but you might not be free!

If people arrange something and then you pull out that could leave folk a bit high and dry.

By coincidence, in the Architecture and Urban thread, some ones posted some images of the Magpie Lead Mine at Sheldon, I thought the same, it would be great for some night/lightpainting stuff and its its fairly close to the cave you've mentioned Rich. Looks like we need to do both one night (y)

Thursday looks like better weather. Rob @robphotographer is also off on Thursday.

Are you free on Thursday phil? @Phil-D

Also Friday is a bank holiday so places could be busier!
