North England Monthly Leeds (and local meets) thoughts thread.

Very short notice chaps but I'm thinking of going up Brimham Rocks again tomorrow afternoon,hopefully get there about 4'ish, weather forecast looks good for Pateley Bridge.

Moss Moor is close enough to Scammonden, looks a bit windy and chance of snow showers there, so not perfect.

Hoping for a good sunset, then a bit of wire wool and some more orbs. Also the ISS passes over about half 6 and I'm hoping to set up with some good rock formations and get it passing over

Anyone up for it? Appreciate its very short notice but thought I'd ask, I'm teking Lynn with mi anyway so I won't be on mi own :D Cheers

Edit- or anyone else that fancies it for that matter (y)

Sounds good Tim, yeh, let mi know :) forecast still looks good, I know you were fancying Scammonden but forecast for Moss Moor looks miserable. I nipped out last night to try get a reflection of some wool spinning on a reservoir up there and got caught in a right snow shower :banghead:

Weather was beautiful, if a little breezy, bit of colour at sunset, just lacked a bit more cloud, Lynn says I'm never happy o_O :D

Thanks to Dan for the good company and buying tea(y) Can't believe where the time went, 4 till 9 with an intermission for tea at the chippy in Pateley Bridge just flew by! very enjoyable :)

Great afternoon and evening and what a location! Thanks to Phil for driving, scaling the rocks, spinning the wire wool and orbs and acting as my remote camera release when mine gave up.

All I need to do now is do some processing!

This really is a short notice one :D

Lynn wants to go to Whiterose tonight (her phones packed up and she's pulling her hair out without one :rolleyes: ) So I'm going to call at Clarence dock for an hour after, should be there about half 7, weather looks overcast but warmish and just a breeze.

Andy's calling in, he's borrowing mi orb lights, but don't think he can stay :(.

As said, probably only be there an hour (could turn into 2 :D) but thought I'd mention it :)

First time there for me Rich and tbh I don't know what I expected. To the eye it looked a little dull, but in the pictures I was impressed with the colours pulled from the longer exposures. Andy stayed for an hour, which was good (y) and my hour turned into 2 :D

Edit- got a few of the graffiti, some of that was very good (y)

Sorry @Phil-D i only just seen this would have grabbed me camera and got bus into town if i had see it yesterday lol, nice shot btw
 
Hi, Phil it was good to meet you and your missus again.

#1 works really well. The water is nice and still with lovely reflections. There is a little movement in the sky as well.

Cheers Andy, I got that one just before we left, the water went like glass :)

It looks a lot duller when you actually arrive at the place, the colours really show when shot over a longer exposure (y)

I'm a little unsure on the rail :thinking: I popped it in the 'Show Us Your Reflections' thread and someone commented that it would've been better without.......and there was me trying to be artistic :D

Hope weather holds for you all tomorrow and have a great time in Majorca, looking forward to seeing some orbs on the beach (y)
