Money thoughts …

£400 this month, plus a rise in my works pension, but the taxman now taking a bigger slice so rise not as good as hoped.

November,
Me £50
Wife £100

£200 which is a nice suprise seeing as i dont have that much in there anymore :)

Good Morrow; PBs November.
Me £00
Mrs £75 --
sad face

One account zilch, the other £275 for us this month.

£275 between us, but, ex miner so my pension fund is getting sizeable funds returned to it , decent second rise this year so happy this month regardless, of course taxman getting a decent share.

Tell you what, give me one more win, £1,000,000, or tell you what, £500,000 and I ask for no more, deal?

Premium Bonds have done ok for me and risk free
One 25 quid win is more than you would get in yearly interest from £15k in an isa
I think you may need a few more wins £15,000 @ say 4% would produce £600 in interest

First 6 months, nothing - a big fat 0 again!
I know how you feel, although I've had mine for longer. A few £25 wins to start but nothing in the last 6 months.
Things can only get better as someone once sung..

In 2024 we had a return in the end of 8.36% - mostly down to a good month with a £1000 and £250 numbers coming up. 2025 has not started so well at 0%.

£100 + £50 for me which is a decent return as I havent as much in as I once had :)

Strange thing is.. I have less then half what i had pre Oct 2024 and running at about 7% ... before oct with a full house i was getting about 3% .. less is more it seems.... so far :)

Quite happy with another (100+50) £150 for my limited amount in there :)

Currently on about 3% return

with your luck yer better off in a ISA getting 4% or more :)

Something like £140 or so in lost interest. But have the mindset of a gambler on this, chasing my loses. It has to come in soon - interest would be around £20 a month? So even a £25 prize next month is better than I would earn in an account (as maxed on ISA)

As you know it's all down to amount of holding. At least every one of your bonds as the same chance of winning as everyone else's, so you could be a millionaire next month unless you already are.

Well after a good start in Jan I scored £0, but the wife lifted £250 so the average is still ok.

She can want it all she likes but I'm not sure she's allowed it!!!

Me £0
Wife £50

very poor

has anyone ever had a major pay out from Ernie?.. in the thousands...£5k upwards ? I ahve only been doing PB a couple of years..

Juts being nosey :)

Nothing for me, the wife or the kiddies holdings … fingers crossed for next month.
