Missing child

And attempting to defeat the ends of justice (presumably the latter refers to her reporting the child as having gone missing). She has been remanded in custody and will be back in court on 28 January.

I think the latter (reporting the child missing) is only part of it. Hiding the body will also be the main part of this charge I should imagine.

what i find strange is now the papers are covering her face why? it has been everywhere..

Surely if she was a Doctor and said she was eating tapas, she would have gotten away with it!

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:DNow that did make me laugh out loud!!

some people, me included, don't speculate on whether somebody is guilty or not.

I prefer to wait for the court case to reach a conclusion. Contrary to many beliefs, our judicial system isn't that bad.Of course errors occur , that is human nature.

The mother has not been convicted of anything yet, so why not wait for the evidence to be heard and a verdict reached.

Hopefully it will have reminded some people to lock their doors. Occasionally I forget as I seem to thiink living in the country makes my house unlikely to be burgled!

I kept my mouth shut when it was all being posted on facebook but having lived in Edinburgh and having the same security door, I knew he couldn't have opened it himself. That particular door is really heavy and quite hard to even jam open although people did stick stuff against the lock.

Not sure what you're having a dig at. The story was entirely plausable. Kids do get out of bed and leave the house occasionally. Mine never have but there was a child about 10 miles away found in his PJ's having decided on an early trip to the park on his own. Just because that particular child didn't leave the house on his own doesn't mean there isn't a lesson to be learned.
