Met quite a lot of people, most seem decent.
Was having breakfast next to Micaela Strachen in Derby, she was happy to chat about what work she was currently filming.
Met Michael Schumacher in Florida, downtown Disney in 2005, he'd come out the Blues club to buy a huge cigar from the shop opposite which is where we were. I looked up from browsing and there he was. Asked if my son could have a photo with him but he politely declined as he didn't want to draw attention to himself. Seems reasonably I said, he shook my hand and I wished him well for the forthcoming US grandprix. He won that with 6 cars taking place.
Eddie Irvine was funny, a maverick, Rubens Barachello amazingly polite, informative and a mischevious streak as he as trying to teach me porteguese phrases for his then formula 3 room mate we'd come to watch on a test day. Jordon were testing on the south circuit at Silverstone. Met quite a few F1 drivers when we sponsored Marussia for two years and I've managed to remember to remind Rubans a couple of times that 'his granny could drive faster than that'.
Away from the circuit, most drivers are decent people, but tend to be very focussed on race weekends.
