I'm posting here after receiving quite a bad service from MBP Photographic..
I ordered a lens and payed for it over the phone, The person on the other end of the line was helpful but that's as far as I'd go to praise him..
I was told the lens was being shipped by a 48hour service and It should be with me Thursday. I replied saying thanks and asked what courier it was being sent by and got no response and the person hung up, I just took it to be a bad line to put the phone down..
Yesterday evening was when I noticed I'd still not received a call from any courier and I decided to get the tracking from MPB, It then turned out to be sent by the postal service and this made me wonder why the person on the other side of the phone could tell me It would be here Thursday(when the post had already come) meaning the 48 hour service was a lie,When I was speaking to him while making the order, I was about to question the 48 hour service thinking it was quick and then the person goes "So it'll be with you Thursday" I felt he obviously knew what he was talking about..
So now here I am 72 hours after my order knowing the item isn't going to be here till Monday at the earliest meaning the 48 hour service has now become 144 hour service, I wouldn't usually add in the weekends but when I'm told it's going to take 48 hours and be here Thursday I'd expect it to be here Thursday of Friday at the latest!
All I can say is after dealing with over 100 UK ebayers and Mifsuds this has to be one of the lowest services I've received
I'm not going to comment on the condition of the lens as I know it's not good, But I was really looking forward to getting this for the Weekend and unless I got a special delivery later it doesn't seem hopeful.
Edit: Having spoke to MPB it turns out the operator was quoting me for the wrong service and I probably should of spoke to MPB first!
