Very nice, I think there may be a few of them this week![]()
Yep great edit Mandy![]()
Lovely clean shot in number one Mandy ..... and it's definitely a cows head
Number two is really nice too.....well done to you for getting them on so quickly.

Great smoke shots Mandy. I like all of them. #1 looks like a hooded ghostly figure rising up out of the ground, and you've captured some great shapes in#2.
#3 is a very good. Love the colour and the sharpness of the shape you've captured.
Well done getting these Mandy - love the blue in your edited shot...
Think the best ones of these are where the initial image is transformed into something, by layering other smoke plumes and colouring and erasing etc. You look to have the technique sussed to shoot these though.
That's much better![]()
Hi Mandy, your 3rd attempt is so much better, I think you may have been a bit hasty with the first two, well done for working on it its paid off
Bubble - #2 for me like the graining on the BG and nice clean bubble
Smoke - Of the 3 I prefer the 2nd Edit of #2 as it holds a lot more interest and I like the subtle colour of the smoke.![]()
I like this last one Mandy it looks like a piece of silk chiffon![]()
you've done really with with the background in the last one. I like the smoke in the first the best as its nice and sharp and contained. Its hard to get a good composition when shooting smoke as its so unpredictable! good job.
Good work all round Mandy, you've certainly nailed these smoke shots
I admire your perseverance in sticking with it and perfecting the images.![]()
Thanks for your kind comments, I think its the best way for me to learn rather than try to do a bit of this and a bit of that and a bit of the other and ending up all confused.com. If i focus on one thing at a time in terms a technique or subject matter or a way in which i process the image i am finding that what i learn stays with me better. so that when i next come to do it, it becomes second nature to me.
Nice detail and lighting on the watch-face - nice work![]()
Hi Mandy
I am with others on congratulating you on sticking with the smoke shots and improving at each go. Well done. Last one has the ambiguity of whether it is smoke or a silk scarf![]()
Good ideaThank you very much, I am chuffed with the last shot I did so much so I am going to get it printed out.
comment catch up time your smoke edit is very good but wow wow wow i really love your second bubble shot top drawer.

Nice take on the theme it well captured and a good product shot. Im not sure if there should be a shadow or not. It looks like its floating but cant decide if thats good or not.
Very quick though. Puts me to shame as im about two weeks behind now.
Like.
The blue looks great on the sides of the bottle and it fits well with the theme.
Good work Mandy![]()
