Chemistry, first thought was passion, then chemicals, then household chemicals...

Ever wondered what a smashed LCD laptop screen looks like? It was pretty psycodelic really... spent the afternoon trying to get it sorted and sadly ended up with a new laptop (I loved my old one!)

This shot is from coming home. I really like this shot. Really quite enjoy night shots...

Natt at least you are sticking with it nd you got shot..keep it up

Great catch up Minxie.
The bridge is my favourite of the last set

natt that is something i have never done to be honest.. you doo seem more comfortable with nigh early morning shots. rom what i can see oh and of course you still life.. can't wait till next month

You're right, they are shots that I'm more comfortable with, partly because I can do it when I want and take as long as I want, - there's no hurry. Being a night-peron means that I have to do studio shots before 11pm otherwise I annoy the nighbours, but the others I can do at any time.

:p You need to slow down madam!!!!
Every time I've gone to look in here over the last few weeks, you've posted a themed 52 shot before I've had chance to get mine in and I haven't been able to look

Some lovely shots since I last looked and I can't possibly comment on all of them.
A couple of my favourites though :

Post 218 : The close up of your cat is absolutely gorgeous

Post 234 : I really must try some night-time photography, it's something I never seem to get around to but I can see how it could be soothing. I really like the one on this post - I just can't get over how crisp and clear it is and I love the glimpse of the silvery river.

Post 243 : I love all of the rose shots in this one, but the one on the music really does it for me.
I also like the first close-up one - there's been a HUGE improvement in your macro stuff since the beginning of this thread.

I've finally got to your 52 shots too.
Play and Chemistry are both spot on theme. Looking at that chemistry shot, it reminds me how many "hazardous" chemicals we keep in the house without even thinking about it :shake:

So much for me to catch up on. You have been busy - and haven't sacrificed quality either. Some of the ones I particularly like:

All your kitty ones, but especially the last one on the 10 March (sorry, I didn't get the post number before replying!). That is just downright gorgeous.

Those sumptuous rose shots (and I'm not the greatest fan of red roses, but if anyone can convert me, you can! :)) are pure luxury, but my favourite is the b&w posted on 6 March. It's just timeless and elegant. :)

Your night shots are becoming a bit of a trade mark, aren't they. :) I rather like the traffic light ones on the 12 March, despite the colour cast affecting the green lights. Is this 3 separate shots? I can't think how else all the lights are showing at once! Very clever. And the deserted road makes me think of all the times I've sat for ages at a red light late at night, when there's nothing else on the road. :D

The bridge shot is beautiful.

I hope you're feeling better soon. :)

Sorry, I forgot to comment on the 'Please - just make it stop' shot. I don't know how I missed it, because it's so powerful and a very graphic illustration of the pain you experience. Like Jill (Bruja) you're incredibly brave and I'm in awe of what you achieve despite your illness.

Thank you.

I have to admit that I'm a sucker for roses, especially red ones or multicoloured ones....and they were very cheap red ones, lol. Lasted nearly two weeks, so was quite chuffed. Glad that you like them.

I love night photography though and this past week I've done loads of it. It's just calming when you're out and about in the middle of the night and most people are in bed. The traffic lights is just a long exposure hun. Was a bit disappointed with the lack of starbursts, but it still works.

I'm glad that the please make it stop image conveys what I wanted it to though, thank you. ALot of people with RSD do, sincerely consider self amputating. Something like an axe or saw would have maybe been better....but erm, I don't trust myself with either lol - it was a right royal pain trying to press the shutter button on the cable release with both hands occupied though! lol

Some great photos, my favourite has to be the rose on the sheet of music. It just works very well, a simple shot and nice depth of field.

Natt!

Far Toooooo long since I have visited.... Sorry :( You now have every right to no longer be a donkey lover....

The sky in that penultimate shot is SoooBloooodyPerb! Any PP or all natural? We have been sooo lucky with the weather of recent!

Now - shall make an uber effort to keep up to date. BAD DONKEY.

Thanks Matt, aww I still lvz the donkey

The sky shot have v little PP TBH, changed the curves ever so slightly and that was about it.

I have a better bridge shot that I'll replace that one with later...but for the moment it'll bide lol

You need to catch up with your 52 Mr Donkey!! tut tut x

Ok....5 images to bring me upto date....

Not sure if this works, but I think I like it. It was so foggy!

From the Millenium Bridge, I went over the Millenium Bridge for the first time ever today lol, didn't really anticipate it to be quite so bouncy as people walked over it, it was like being on a bouncy castle!!

bollardswm.jpg

This one took ages, every time I went to take it, someone walked infront of me, one guy saw me, saw what I was pointing at and deliberately stopped right infront of me staring... nowt as funny as folk!

Great set of photographs - really well composed. I can't choose a favourite they are all so good
