I was driving back to Oxford on the M25 tonight, the weather was awful making the driving conditions in the heavy rain treacherous yet some drivers were hurtling along at reckless suicidal speeds in some places, brake light were appearing regularly as drivers had to suddenly slow down when they were unable to see ahead of them. I had suicidal drivers tailgating me, how on earth they had any visibility driving in the spray behind my car I do not know, I also had cars pulling in front of me and obscuring my visibility!!. One driver at a cautious speed in the inside lane was even flashed and tailgated by a bus, where was the car driver supposed to go! if he was not driving fast enough for the bus why didn't the bus driver overtake!. Another lunatic driver caused me and other drivers to brake when he shot across at speed from the outside lane to a sliproad off.
Mrs G was terrified after that incident and I had to move from lane two to lane one to calm her nerves.
I was amazed at the recklessness of some drivers in what are the worst road conditions in the wet I have ever driven in!!.
