Thanks - supposedly reduces the occurrence of the 'black panels' on the Mac. Fingers crossed!
Hopefully it will also update the stupid bug where it exports the unprocessed file over and over and ignores all your work!
The LR update seems to have screwed up on my Mac, when I look at images I have taken with blown highlights those areas are red for some reason and this was not the case before the update.

Did you click the arrow to the top right of the histogram? This would show blown highlights as red.
Has anyone else's LR suddenly started crashing?
I've never had a problem before but it crashed 3 or 4 times last night, and again just now.
Issues remarked on here including crashes

I have yet to update but hopefully bugs sorted soon![]()
This is what I get.
I'm getting an update my Camera Raw needs to be update. Problem is, it was! Now I get the "Render in Lightroom" or Open anyway each time I go into Photoshop
Me too. I'm sure I already updated to a higher camera raw that the error message mentions...off to check..
Ah, I recall ticking a box for no more of this kind of messages so doesn't show again. I don't use ACR anyway.
Cheers.
At the moment I am still using CC on Windows 10 PC.
As mentioned I have yet to install this update, actually I think I am a couple of updates behind on my perpetual license (v. 6.6.1 ?)
And also on W 10 64 bit Pro
NO update for me today just Photoshop and Camera Raw wonder why
It seems to happen when I switched to developer panel. I turned off the graphics card acceleration and it made things slower but not had a crash yet.Has anyone else's LR suddenly started crashing?

Well, seems I'm suffering the same new 'crashing on selecting the develop module'. I came here to ask if anybody else was having a problem and it seems I'm not alone.![]()

There is a note on the Adobe site that says:Thanks, I'll give that a go. That's the one thing I haven't tried. I've made sure all my drivers are up to date, I performed a disk cleanup which sped LR up and I thought had cured the problem for an hour or so but it hadn't, and have even had a LR update a few days ago, but it's still crashing.
I'll try that and see what happens.
Not sure how it would be if it were slower though, it's crawling at the moment already!
There is a note on the Adobe site that says:
"We have an issue where customers are unable to use the Develop module with GPU enabled. This only occurs when using an AMD graphics card using driver Version 17.4.4 (released 4/23/2017) on Windows."
Would it be related to that?
