I've finally got my spare room emptied of boxes (3 months after moving in - quite proud of myself!!!) and now it is mainly going to be used as my editing room.
To start with I'm getting a decent black out blind to stop daylight getting in while I'm editing, but need to sort out the lighting so that is the best for editing.
From searching around the internet it seems that D50 or 5000k (how do you do a degrees sign on a PC?) is the standard to go for. However I can't seem to find any 5000k lights over here. It is all 2700, 4000 or 6500 (so called daylight). Does anyone have special lighting in their editing room?
If I do manage to find the right bulbs what about lampshades? I can't see Mrs CB liking a bare bulb
