OK, in my attempts to convert tP into tMP (ask and I shall elaborate) I thought I'd start a thread on music, and what génres we like and love. To me, I guess music invokes the same inner feelings and emotions as photography does to many of us around these parts.
Both hobbies are quite remarkable to be honest, and have wonderful ways of allowing us to create expression and feeling; allowing one to express oneself, and both are capable of invoking extremely powerful emotions.
I don't tend to drive very much of late, except on weekends when I am a part time taxi driver for the kids
. Yesterday I was driving and was listening to the fabulous ClassicFM station and heard a track I had forgotten about and hadn't heard for several years. This was one track that brought back powerful emotions for me, and I duly searched it out on iTunes and purchased a copy.
I managed to find a recording of it on YouTube and post a copy of it here for your viewing and listening pleasure. The sound recording is not that good as it was made with a camcorder, but if you have a spare 5 mins, and you fancy dimming the lights, relaxing and just plain drifting off to wherever you want to go to - then I suggest you have a listen to this wonderful piece of music.
It's called 'O Magnum Mysterium', and perhaps may not be to everyones taste, but to me... is simply sublime....
