I’d be happy to do that. It’s very simple in Lightroom.I’d love to how you get on also. In fact a chat about stitching shots together would also be fantastic should you ever have the time and inclination.

Thank you - hopefully also simple in non Adobe products! Will spend some time finding out.I’d be happy to do that. It’s very simple in Lightroom.
Here's one of Loch Lomond. Shot at 28mm and f8. It's very sharp across the frame. Really pleased with its performance!I'd love to see some sample pics when you are ready.

That’s a great image. If I’d known I’d have asked for an invite to come along. I’m based in Redditch and always keen to catch up on other local landscape/woodland photographers.@Adamcski and I had a little meet up yesterday. We went to Broadway Tower. The light was pretty poor most of the afternoon but we persevered and were rewarded with a lovely 15 mins of pre sunset light. Here’s one I took. It’s a stitch of 8 shots taken in portrait format.

In fairness I’m interloping as I have a Nikon Z amongst other cameras, sure you guys wouldn’t hold that against me would you?![]()
If that works out as a thing, I'd be keen to pop along also if I can.I'm only in Solihull so not far away. Happy to meet up with folk and get out for a few sessions
Sounds good to me. I’ll drop you a DM.Well Paul and I have been out a couple of times together and whilst I can't speak for him I am always willing to meet up. I tried to start a West Midlands group get together on the forums and not many replied, so no problem with me.
Once I've spoken to Paul perhaps I can get a WhatsApp group up and running for us (Paul and I just swapped numbers) but a group may be better with more of us.
Thoughts?
If you fancy it, drop me a pm with a suitable mobile number and we can take it from there.
I'm always up for a wander if you fancy it, retired early so plenty of free timeWell I would be up for it if I can make it. My full time work days ended fairly recently but I seem to be taking on more and more part time stuff.
Absolutely not! Adam's organising a meet-up group, so hopefully will see you soon! That’s a great image. If I’d known I’d have asked for an invite to come along. I’m based in Redditch and always keen to catch up on other local landscape/woodland photographers.

Super images!!I don't seem to have had as much time to play with my S5 as I'd hopes but I thought I'd share a few of the shots I have managed (if you can't tell I've been taking it to work with me

Possibly interested, but to avoid a reprimand from the staff you might want to move this to the trading forums...*mod edit*
Trading only allowed in the sales areas
I'm also looking at getting a Canon EF to L-mount adapter and so far have found this Sigma, along with similar adapters made by Commlite and Viltrox. The new price for the Sigma seems somewhat inflated given that they also make a Sigma-SA mount adapter for less than half the price of the EF adapter, and that must be electronically very similar. Are Commlite and Viltrox similar quality and reliable?Morning all,
Does anyone have any 'recent' experience using the Sigma MC-21 adapter for the l-mount cameras (specifically on panasonic S1/R) with Canon EF lenses? I've seen some reviews on Youtube, however these are several years old now, and many say that AF-C doesn't work with adapted lenses, but not sure if this is still case.
I primarily shoot sport, but have a passion for portrait .... it's getting a little tiresome lugging the D5 or 1DXii's around the world for my travel/portrait shoots and I am considering going for the Panasonic S1R as I love the way it handles. I have several EF lenses that I am considering adapting to the camera - and the R5 is too expensive for a camera that I'll only be using for portraits etc.
Does anyone have any experience of adapted lenses for portraits? Or I am barking up the wrong tree and should consider the Canon R8 as it's comparably priced?
Thanks
chris
Yep, he needs to start a thread in the sales area.Possibly interested, but to avoid a reprimand from the staff you might want to move this to the trading forums...
OK - thanks. Will do.Yep, he needs to start a thread in the sales area.
Yeah, the 20-60 is way better than it deserves to be. Paired with the S5, it’s what convinced me to jump into the Panasonic S system.Boy, the 20-60 is such a great lens. I usually gravitate toward a 35 or 50 prime but having a small, light 20mm lens is actually amazing. I hope this trend of wider kit lenses continues!
Very normal, especially wide open, on most lenses. I've yet to use one that doesn't, but I find the 20-60 one of the better examples for avoiding it, and I seem to get hardly any fringing at all. I can go out and test it a bit if you like, later in the week, and see if I can get really bad stuff.I have noticed a fair amount of chromatic aberration with the 20-60 - has anyone else? Tends to be twiggy trees causing a significant purple cast.
