If it wasn't so big and heavy, I'd buy one.
I am looking forward to seeing what they do with the S1 range (assuming they do something).
I love my S1 and the 24-105 lives on it. It feels so well made.
If it wasn't so big and heavy, I'd buy one.
It is yeah, I hate generic L brackets with all my soulThanks. Was that an S5 specific model?

I recognise that place

Thank you PaulJust breathtaking! Superb.
I'm planning a trip up to Scotland at the end of next month - probably around the Trossachs and the west. I fancy doing Glencoe, Kilchurn Castle, Loop of Fintry, and Devil's Pulpit. Perhaps too much for a short visit, but we'll see!
Can I ask where these were taken?
I've just ordered one. I've read so many reviews and they're all over the place. Some praise its performance, others say it's pants! So, I decided I need to check it for myself. I hope it pans out - the only other option really is the 70-200 f4, but that's quite a bit more expensive and from what I can see it's not a stellar performer either.Looks to be good results! FWIW the 70-300 is absolutely fantastic.
So long as you've been on a calisthenics course!I've been watching reviews of the 60-600 which looks like it could be the ultimate walkabout lens lol
A mere bagatelle!It's only 2.5 kg @Pdk42![]()

Stars by Jcw Photographic, on FlickrLooks pretty good to me! Care to share some technical info - lens, ISO, exposure time etc?Had a bit of a play with the S5 tonight. I’ve never really done much Astro but given my lack of experience I’m reasonably happy. I have a feeling I’m going to enjoy this camera

Thanks. ISO 800, 15 sec exposure, wide open at 20mm with the 20-60. It’s a stack, albeit only of seven shots, merged in Starry Landscape Stacker and finished off in Capture OneLooks pretty good to me! Care to share some technical info - lens, ISO, exposure time etc?
Both 7artisans and Ttartisan make a fisheye for L mount. I wouldn't mind one myself.Been out today and had some fun with the GX9 and the Olympus 9mm fisheye. I quite fancy one for the full frame now but looking on WEX they only have the Laowa 4mm f2.8 Circular Fisheye Lens for L Mount. it's cheap enough to have a play with but are there any more to consider? If not, may have a look at options for the M4/3 kit as there is more choice.
Are they on Amazon or something? Everything I seem to find is for M4/3.Both 7artisans and Ttartisan make a fisheye for L mount. I wouldn't mind one myself.
The TTArtisan is available via Amazon.I don't use eBay / PayPal so would have to be Amazon for me.
On the face of it we have an 11 mm, 10 mm and the lowa 4 mm then.
That’s the one I have. Are they on Amazon or something? Everything I seem to find is for M4/3.
Okay so I found:

They're really nice PaulThere is a field behind my house; it's got a nice gentle sweep to it and a strategically-placed tree that lends itself to a nicely balanced composition. I find myself shooting it often. Here's a few recent ones with the S5. Most are with the 20-60, but a few are with the TTArtisan fisheye:

Adam and I exchanged messages privately on this, but for any others interested, this is my experience....Where did you order yours from Paul?
Any import fees or issues at all?

Nah - but the S5ii does interest me! Maybe if/when I sell all my Oly gear I'll get one.Thought you'd purchased a new camera then![]()
No live composite mode irc on the s5 mkii like there is on the S5 and your olyNah - but the S5ii does interest me! Maybe if/when I sell all my Oly gear I'll get one.
That's a real beauty, we've switched from a lovely crisp frosty week with lingering snow, to a dull rainy day here today up north.
