Hi All,
First of all, i'm slightly unsure if this is the right place to be posting this. However, the content relates to post-processing etc... so I hope it is. (If not, an admin can feel free to move the topic and delete this paragraph).
*
I am sharing this idea with you (might be silly of me if you think it's a good idea, ha ha) because I would like some feedback.
*
I have a selection of borders that I have created in all different colours/formats/styles etc over the years.
*
It suddenly dawned on me that I must have spent endless hours reading tutorials on*how to implement these borders/watermarks/copyright/titles etc. This made me realise that others (novices) must go through the same problems.
*
Now that I have this selection built up at home, I am thinking of putting together an eBook that explains how to create your own borders and implement these using Photoshop.
*
My target audience are likely to be newbies to Photography/Amateurs of Photoshop*that have their own personal websites for friends/family to view their photos (just like me). They will not be experienced users like you guys.... they are likely to have limited knowledge of photoshop and find it time consuming adding borders to their photos.
*
The contents will include:
·*** eBook - Tutorial explaining how to create borders and implement them (turning them into an action).
·*** All the borders (which I am currently creating a larger bank of them right now) I am going to aim for around 35 - 50.
All users will have to have an edition of Photoshop (that can support actions).
*
I will not be charging for the tutorial, more so the borders... which are time-consuming to add individually (especially if they are all the same).
My question is, do you think this would likely sell for £5 ($10) per download? (it would be emailed instantly).
*
Any feedback would be appreciated. (Once I have fine-tuned everything over the next week or so, I would be willing to send anyone who is interested a copy of the 'complete package'.*Similar to a*BETA testing session....).
*
Thanks in advance,
Amnesia
