In hot water in Oz about his 2 dogs. Australian official says "He can put them on a charter flight and b****r off back to the USofA"
The most Important news of the day - top of the BBC "watches"
Old the Aussies could describe the event like this - "good on them"
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-australia-32737140
Can we even use "b****r" in the UK without being prosecuted by the PC "mob"
LOL yes I remember but I don't think the "cow" one was ever shown here?Used to be an ad campaign in Oz for Toyota pick-ups....
I'm I the only one wondering what the hell the diac officers were doing? Were the asleep in the job or something? Sure jack sparrow shouldn't have brought them, but diac should have checked him and the party.
To be fair they are so used to sniffing each others arse's, the scent probably didn't register as out of the ordinary. And not just that but that their drug detection dogs would recognise that there are other dogs or animals....
LOL I would have thought DIAC officers are slightly better trained at recognising concealment. And not just that but that their drug detection dogs would recognise that there are other dogs or animals....
Wonder what has been the final outcome
I really do get thoroughly cheesed off with these 'celebrities' who think that because they are who they are they do not have to obey laws , and we should all bow down before them. Just 'cos they have a lot of money [ far more than is good for them I suspect ] they are not above the law !
If he loses his dogs because of his stupidity / arrogance so be it. If we wish to take our dogs out of the UK AND bring them back in we have to obey Rules and regulations
Once a pirate always a pirate'celebrities' who think that because they are who they are they do not have to obey laws
He was wearing his "puppy smugglers". Not budgie smugglers.A dog that size is easy to conceal
A dog that size is easy to conceal
I know of someone who had 2 identical terriers and went to centreparcs where you are only allowed one dog.
They drugged one and hid it to get them in and out then only appeared with one at a time, got a way with it on more then
one occasion
Maybe they've changed the rules but we're just back from CP and there were people walking 2 or more dogs at a time. I don't even remember seeing a dog last year but there were quite a few this year.
I'm more worried about the morality of drugging pets than breaking rules.
Possibly, this was a few year back
Sedation is pretty safe is the person doing it knows what they are doing.
Safe does not equal right.
Doping a dog so they can take a little holiday?
Not fit to have dogs.
Really, so leaving your dogs stressed out in kennels is a far better option then sedating them for a couple of hours ?
Oh dear I am an unfit dog owner then, I had one dog in the past that hated long car journeys so that was exactly what I did
when we took him on holiday with us, with full vet checks and approval.
I probably did it far more often then the person I mentioned, never did my dog any harm and he enjoyed being away with
us, I know from the one time I left him he was very stressed and that was only for a couple of days..
@Gremlin
Your initial post stated that they doped the dog for no other reason than to smuggle it into Centre Parcs. My apologies. My psychic abilities don't kick in til mid morning![]()
I've no problem with it for avoiding anxiety, but the CP thing is ridiculous. They should simply have gone somewhere that accepted two dogs.

Can't really see the difference TBH his dogs were alternatively sedated for a short time, once each, , yes he did know what he was doing
Mine is out for a few hours, and a couple of weeks later same again
Both just so we could take them on holiday with us
Mine was at far greater risk in my opinion,
Asked about the charges during an interview with Sky News, Mr Joyce suggested Ms Heard would not be getting any special treatment.Well - the Courts will get their chance to deal with his sulky partner

Helps if you read the article: "the actress could face a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a fine of 102,000 Australian dollars (£48,000)."Well - dunno how Australia would normally deal with this
