Jessop are a bunch of Muppets

I have just brought 2 lenses from them today and got first class service in every respect.
Called them before hand and asked if they would match a web price, which they said they would. They gave me the bame of the chap to speak to when I went in.
So I turned up at just before 3.45pm today, busy day.
Was served imemdiately handed my 2 lenses to play about with again on a body. When I was happy with the feel and after I had been given advice about tightening the barrell movement, we talked cash:

They matched the web.
No need for vouchers on my part.
and then gave me a further discount on top...

I also wanted some film as well, they didn't have any Velvia in stock but told me exactly where I could pick some up.

Yes they may be slightly more expensive than others but in the Cardiff branch I have nothing but positive praise to heap on them - Thanks.
Second superb experince in less than a year!
 
Just thought i would give the Jessops at Denton crown point a call and see if they would price match. And do you know what they said ? no we cant do that, i told you they are a bunch of MUPPETS.
 
i've had good and not so good experience's at jessops, when they was'ent so good i went elsewhere, the bottom line is their under no obligation to price match, if they do it's a bonus, if they don't just go elsewhere, i think this thread has just about had the arse torn out of it now, what say you all ??

But then again so are Tesco, Woolworths, Comet, Currys....ect...ect....in fact any store with more than one branch!! There are good and there are bad!

Deal with it and move on

I rang Asda earlier as Sainsbury's (correct I think you'll find) have an offer on. Asda wouldn't bloody price match though. Muppets.
