Show off!! :p

It's either a macro lens or a new computer SM. I'm still undecided, I would love both but with the amount of processing etc I'm doing now a new computer with a nice big screen would be lovely.:D

I like the composition in Day 102 - the road winding into the background helps give focus on the subject :)

Day 104

Not much been done again today, ok, I tidied the back of the van and made a note of all the stock I have. (very bored today)
On the left; after it had been tidied. On the right; all the crap accounted for and put back in it's place. Oh and just to jazz it up a bit I put a wee border round it as well!! Ain't it cute!!!

I'll be going round to a mates tonight to watch the footy, (come on the pool!!) So this is a lazy shot for a lazy day. :D

I would have liked to see the before shot, what it looked like before you started to tidy it up :p

Don't want the Pool to win

I agree with Shrub Monkey, would have made a good 3-some

It looked a lot like the after shot, was just a case of not knowing where anything was!! I now do, the pool lost unfortunately but it was a great match to watch...right I'm away for more beer....

Day 105 Who's The Daddy?? - Not Me!!

This is the first scan picture of my mate John's baby, and my future Godchild.

Not much else happened today, stinking hangover and was quite glad that the day was over. Work are planning on sending me out to Co.Donegal again on Friday so expect a landscape one!!

Ahh I remember looking at our first scan pictures, very special time.

So I expect a stunning sky as usual on Friday ;)

Day 106

Bought a new computer today as the laptop was slow, and just really wasn't what I need any more. I'm quite astounded at the difference in processing power!! If only I could get CS3 to work, then the world will be a better place!! I've spent all night uploading all my programmes. For some reason CS3 won't read the NEF RAW file from the camera. I've processed this picture using GIMP, which worked first time! Photoshop is annoying my brain!! :bang:

you probably need the latest Adobe Raw Converter, to read D90 raw files. Version 4.6 is the latest version for CS3.

Couldn't decide which one so you get four!!

Was out in Co.Donegal all day, such a shame!! I was determined to get a few more shots than I usually do, long distances between each job meant that I could. As you can see I've finally got CS3 working again, I was going into cold sweats and shaking!!

I can't decide between the first and last pictures here - I love the sky in the first one (I'm into photographing clouds at the moment), and the grasses in the last

It looks like a lovely place there :)

I love GIMP - so powerful and easy to use (once you get used to it ;))

Day 108 Finally up to date. (must remember to never let it go a day late again)

A great day spent in Belfast with Bern and The Rev. We dandered up through and ended up going into Crumlin Road Gaol for the tour. It all felt a bit of a rush, with us being the only photographers in the group they were constantly waiting. I even locked Bern into the padded cell but she got out....It was quite funny when we went in, there was a sign that said "still images only". It's to avoid people taking video to learn the route that the tour takes, so they can't disappear into another part of the building. Anyway, the security man nodded to me with the D90 and says, "your all right mate go ahead"

Anyone want to see the video?? :naughty:

Day 109

Another usual Sunday spent traipsing round a few fields. We had planned to do this ages ago but never found the time. This was taken at an abandoned military fort in Co.Donegal.

Lenan Head Fort was built in 1895, initially with 3 9.2" guns. It was refitted in 1911 with 2 newer 9.2" models. An unusual British fortified site because it was started so late, with concrete caponiers in an extensive ditch system that climbs the hill to the headland. Easy access to most of the site, and excellent views!!

More pics to follow, will probably stick a few in general sharing for a laugh.
