Daily Jake's 365 Challenge

It's a nightmare not having any motivation... but come on get with it and force yourself out!

Oh Jake - you really need to get your A in G and get a bit more enthused :nono:
Now get your finger out and get on with it ;)

I know I know! Sorry! I'll do better today!

I like the cat winking at you, but as Sarah says A in G & get outside & on with it!

Will do! :)

Lol now where was that cat when you had the mouse ;)....now time for you to get out fella and get cracking :D

I couldn't do that :O Poor mousey!

Your cat has strange eyes.

She sure does

Day 69 is a winner for me Jake

Cheers Vince!

It's sunny today, as long as it still is after work I'll head out!

Lovely shots since I was last in Jake - love the cat

Day 71

71/365 by JRTurnerPhotography, on Flickr

I finished really late from work this evening, and as I left saw the sky was looking quite nice! I decided the best thing I could do was a light trail above the M4, so headed to my favourite location. This is 2 shots blended in photoshop. One for the sky and one for the trails. Quite pleased with it. Not the best but I like it!

Thanks Sarah! :) Pfft, I don't like the bragging smiley you've added there!
I would cry

Loving the sky in day 71 Jake , well done

Cheers Vince! :)

Nice work Jake, the blending looks ok to me on here and on Flickr. I wouldn't have known if you hadn't said.

Thanks Sarah! :) There's a couple of bits I need to re visit but other than that I'm happy with it! The biggest give away is that on the exif it is only a 1 second exposure! However the trails were 10 seconds I think!
It's on explore today! :)

Looks great to me Jake and still something i plan to do!

The link you put up made me:lol::lol::lol:

Day 72

I spotted the rather weathered statue we have in the garden, and thought I could do something with it, with some nice processing, and make a nice image. This photo is pretty much how I pictured it in my head before the shot.

Nope, have to disagree with Vince, I rather like the space :thumbs.

Jake, I also think that the space to the left of shot makes it a better one....a crop would spoil the idea and composition for me :)

Like the crop, I think I'd have used a vignette, maybe used a wider apeture & added grain. Made it less of a straight shot.

Thanks Sarah! I actually removed the vignette from the lens and made it a straight shot as that's how I pictured it before hand!

Thanks Simon! Glad everyone agrees!

Well I'm a negative space lover so works well for me!

great shots JAKE (got it right this time  ) love the gnome :)

Looks like you've suffered a inspiration failing since my last visit, it's not something that can be helped you just have to try and work through it we all suffer from it from time to time, gotta say it looks like you had the perfect evening for that light trail

Day 75

Went to Castle Combe on Saturday for a track day. This car belongs to one of our group. It's a Peugeot 105 Diesel, with a 2 litre 306 GTi-6 engine and gearbox. It weighs nothing and goes like the clappers! Great fun to drive!

This is my first attempt at panning. I'm quite pleased with it!

Thanks Matt! Yes I sure did! Although I'm getting back into it, now that the evenings are lighter :D
