Speaking of drinks. Anyone made a drink from hot water and Marmite with a bit of Scotch Bonnet pepper added? Really like it if I've got a bug and feeling a bit achy and shivery.
Dave

I'm still oLd though ( before you say it)
Marmite on toast topped with a strong Cheddar and shoved under the grill for a bit.![]()
I always cut out the green bits, as they taste rather bitter TBH.

Yup, delicious, although IMO, a bit of Bovril mixed up with some mayonaise and grated Cheddar (as strong as you can get), spread on toast then lobbed under the grill...
They're also poisonous IIRC.
No green parts I hope.
Solanine poisoning ain't nice.![]()
Rancid cream springs to mind TBHNow that kinda sounds nice but I'm not sure on mayo under the grill @Nod

My mum used to fry cod roe.![]()
No. That might require running.
Not enough mayo in the mix to make it runny, just as a binding agent really. Even better when topped with crispy bacon (but leave the Bovril out to avoid a meaty clash!)
3 wires 3 slots I make the 8 chances of getting it wrong.maybe once I finally get someone to wire the oven in I shall

Oops 'cuse me, main ingredient first...
