Seems a good deal but cash on collection and too cheap?

Does seem unusual, but he has good feedback, has the name in his photo, good english. Could be a genuine bargain. The only thing that is a "negative" to me is his feedback hasnt been used since January, so could be a hijacked account. However these usualy dont have such a detailed description.
Buy it and take a few big guys with you when you go to collect.
I'd doubt English is the seller's first language, also.....For these items, being expensive as they are, we will happily accept: Cash on collection (so the buyer can see what they have purchased), bankers drafts, cheques (need to clear before we can release item) or a direct bank transfer.** The item can be collected from West Yorkshire, Leeds or East Midlands, Derby! **We can also have the item shipped but this need to be arranged with us before end of auction. Mine came in a gold box - is the the D700 sold with 24-120/4 "kit lens" perhaps?
Also wondering if you are a sole trader and declared bankrupt would anything with an "asset value" such as this effectively belong to the official receiver?
My previous background was in finance and a sole trader in dire straits is allowed to retain items which would allow him/her to earn a living. Gone are the days when they take everything off you and leave you unable to fend for yourself or your family.

£424 not worth bothering about?
I have been asked by a dear friend in need to list his items on eBay so that he may recuperate some money back to repay his debts. His business has struggled this year, which has declared him bankrupt, hence bargains to be bought!
For risking losing it all if stolen or having no warranty then yes, I would rather get a used one from a reputable seller or shop, but that's just me having got stung in the past ...
OK Detective FITP how did you manage to find that?
