My Daughter just called me to say a lady is taking photographs from her bedroom window of her and her friends as she thinks they have broke a bridge...
Background.... We live in a village and there is a nature park thingy that kids and dog walkers bird watchers all sorts go too, basically the kids about 5 or 6 of them (age 14) were down there like they do laughing being silly etc, my daughter shouted at one of them not to pull her jumper it will break, she thinks the lady heard her and thinks she was talking about the bridge, they tried to tell her the bridge was broken (a slat as lifted a bit) and it's been rotten for ages but this lady went back got her phone and camera and was snapping away in her house but then came out and was taking pictures up close at them, they think she either videoed them walking away to come back to see me.
My daughter even tried to explain she shouted at them for her jumper and they hadn't done anything...
Now i know teenagers get a bad name often and to be honest if it had been my eldest boy, i'd be a bit suspect.. but in fairness to my daughter i really do think she's telling the truth..she's a good girl..
I know i often go to town or places and try my hand at candid stuff so would this be classed the same? that the lady was/is alllowed to take my daughters and her friends photos etc? Pops (my daughter) called me whilst this was happening because she was scared, they didn't want to go past this ladies house and worried they were going to get in trouble with the police for something they genuinely hadn't done..
I did go and see this lady, ( politely) stating that she had upset my daughter, her dog was barking so i asked if she could have a proper conversation about what happened but not thru an inch crack in the door, she slammed the door in my face and said the police will be here soon, i waited but nothing so i've come home...
