been buying off play for about 6/7 years back when they were play247.com. never had a problem and always prompt delivery.
Don't buy off them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They sent me an email on Thursday telling me that they'd posted my Bourne trilogy.......it's not got here yet so i'll be stuck with no film tonight :annoyed:
They will not replace anything if it goes faulty after 28 days, you have to deal with the manufacturer.

No.30 of their TOC.The Supply of Goods to Consumers Regulations 2002 require the retailer to repair or replace faulty goods within 6 months of purchase. The same law also dropped the need for the consumer to prove the goods were faulty and now requires the retailer to prove the goods are not faulty.
If you are happy to send back to the manufacturer I don't see a problem IF the fault is clear cut. They advised me on 3 occasions that i had to send the faulty memory directly to Kingston. They wouldn't deal with it after 28 days of purchase.

A possible problem arises if the fault is a matter of judgement and the manufacturers don't agree that there is a problem. They are under no obligation to prove that, the seller is. If the maker states that it is OK and you then send to the seller, the seller will say that the maker says its OK and you are stuck.
If a product is returned to the seller the are obliged to PROVE that it is not faulty.
They can't put a condition in their TOC which restricts rights you have by statute. That would be an unfair contract term and there is a specific law prohibiting that.
