Instagram Rights Grab?

If FB was a pay only service, I'd want a refund for half the crap I read :p
 
I don't think Facebook our twitter would work as subscription only.

Paying for ad removal, anti IP rape and privacy might be popular though... A "pro" account

If it were popular enough, i suspect it would undermine FB's entire business model.
 
Facebook will shortly introduce something that will drive people away, auto-play video ads that start when you load Facebook. That will be when I close my account.

I think it would depend on the price... advertising on a per user basis can't amount to a large amount of cash (maybe $0.001 per ad serve) , certainly something like $2 per month probably is double what its worth as an ad and take up would be probably be only 10% anyway.
