Done, albiet with a certain amount of apprehension.
Not convinced that the outcome of these types of surveys are actually beneficial tbh as they can lead manufacturers to scrap certain lines and increase prices.
Let’s be honest they are designed for nothing more than to ‘read’ the market and increase profits.
, but my request for new kit was the return of Quickloads / Readyloads and that will never happen. I think there might be a case for them in larger sheet sizes, especially when you see the price of an 8x10 DDS.Yeah can be a double edged swordDone, albiet with a certain amount of apprehension.

I reckon the future ideas is something they have a good laugh atDone, I asked Father Christmas for Type 550 compatible pack film.
I think that may be to differentiate between diehard older customers and the hipsters who may turn out to be the longterm future of the company, so I answered honestly.Done although I wasn't happy it wouldn't let me not put my age group in.

Yes I also noticed that the options available were purely for old grumpsDone although I wasn't happy it wouldn't let me not put my age group in.

Well this ‘miserable old grump ‘ ( yet to be categorizedYou may have been categorised into old grump if you admitted to printing before digital.

Felt very attacked when they asked me how many cameras I have!
at only 15 cameras too, now I'd still be off scale if they counted the storage boxes of cameras in my study or bedroom or hidden behind my armchair. They said I had 'GAS'. As if . . .![]()
So did I, grudgingly.I think that may be to differentiate between diehard older customers and the hipsters who may turn out to be the longterm future of the company, so I answered honestly.![]()
It was really good of you to post this thread, but I was just wondering how you came to hear of this, since I get regular emails from Ilford yet no hint of this.If you have the time complete their survey https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/2022film

There can’t be much of a market for that since it’s so easy to use negative film for the purpose.Wonder how long before they make me some B&W slide film?![]()
See https://www.ag-photolab.co.uk/produ...HJIyFwvUWpwvqYHYKR1vEZPel_yI7btRoCW2YQAvD_BwEThe "problem" with normal black and white films is that the base isn't completely clear. There is at least one film where this isn't the case, and the marketing makes mention of its suitability for reversal. I would imagine that even if a reversal black and white film were to be made, finding someone to process it would be problematic, since the processing would presumably be neither E6 nor conventional black and white - unless a colour slide film were made without any colour dye couplers incorporated. Given the need for non standard processing, using a conventional black and white film seems to be actually the same thing as a purpose made slide film.
That’s what I used to do (1960s-ish) but using the basic chemicals (I worked I biochemical lab and we used lashings of dichromate for cleaning — hot stuff especially with conc sulphuric acid addedSee https://www.ag-photolab.co.uk/produ...HJIyFwvUWpwvqYHYKR1vEZPel_yI7btRoCW2YQAvD_BwE
TLDR: as well as a reversal processing kit, they mention ADOX Scala, Fomapan R, and decent results from CMS 20, Rollei Retro 80S and 400S.
). I didn’t have any problems with the base colour which I think my then wife would have picked up on. There was Agfa Dia-direct then which I did use but it was pricey with the included processing etc.
