If i never see a *** picture again it will be too soon.

I'm probably in the camp that thinks every photo's a cliches that's been done a thousand times, but there are some shots you would happily not see another of for the rest of your life. Everyone has there own interests and opinions and this threads is not to be taken seriously so don't get offended.

So i will start it off. My if i never see a *** picture it will be too soon pictures are

1. Another tightly cropped bird on a twig.
2. Another water drop.
3.Another pet cat/dog.

:)

I am of the other camp Robert, there are some shots that I would love to see. As in some of yours :D or have I missed something here  Apologies if I have btw, but I would have thought that by doing a search for threads you have started it might have produced at least the odd one

I'm sure there are some shots knocking around somewhere. On a tamron 17-50 thread if i remember rightly:thinking:

Like i said above most of mine are annoying milky seascapes!:)

So many anti-child pic people!?? You know they're called portraits, right? That's a bit like saying "I hate pictures of old people"!

Just sick of them. About 75% of the people and portrait forum is kids. If 75% of that forum was old people, they'd be in my list too. :)

The only photos that genuinely annoy me is the 100's of photos teenage girls take with them in the same stupid pose.

I think the idea of this thread is to vent about stuff we don't like without getting personal about each other's work.

Duck face! LOL... that annoys me. Stupid pouts that look like you've been injected with almost enough collagen to smooth out Madonna's face.

I think no one really likes/cares for family/wife/children photos if its not of their own close family so that is beside the point! However stuff like milky waterfalls, car tail lights, water drops HDR photos are all of the learning curve for all amateur photographers and no one would blame any old hand/School photographers to be fed up looking at them! But I guess when you have taken thousands of photos over the years everything looks like it's been done before! But then, That is the queue to say (old timers) its you're time to shine!

A black and white image of a bride with the bouquet coloured in.
Dave

The Buachille Etive Mor taken from that location. There must be a queue of photographers waiting to put their tripod in exactly the same spot. I can almost forgive new photographers for it but why do magazine editors put it on the cover of their magazines at least once a year?

Mike

Mike

Because, every year there are new photographers who haven't seen it before :D

That low down shot of a long boardwalk leading out to sea, usually a long exposure, often mono .... Zzzzzzz

Jesus, I guess 99% of people should throw their cameras away then.

Chicks with guns is always a winner

Don't see the attraction myself... :naughty:

* Pictures of children
* HDR'ed anything at all - especially children
* B&W photos - especially of children
* Wedding photos - especially ones with children in them
* Pictures of chav'ed Vauxhall Novas et al - presumably all "pimped" by children
* Did I forget to mention pictures of children?
* Pictures of pineapples

So basically anything to do with children and pineapples :-D

Sea? Surely it tends to be that jetty on (?) Derwent water?

Sunsets. I was at an exhibition by a local photographer recently and every picture was a sunset.

Pictures of Posh Spice standing in the same pose every time. I think she's stuck in that position.

Pictures of babies in unatural poses whilst being forced to wear all manner of ludicrously OTT knitted / crochet'd headwear. The mere existence of these shots will result in a whole bunch of spree killers in a couple of decades, you mark my words :bang:

Dressed pets. Not just the photos of them either! They've evolved with rather nice fur coats of their own (the bald ones have been bred like that, not evolved) and if that coa'ts not enough, don't force the poor thing out when it's cold out.

Not unless they hate all of the types of images collectively in this thread. Individually most of us have only mentioned a few pet-hates each ... well, except Daryl.

Long exposure 'minimal' seascapes. Extra blood boiling points if it includes a pier, groyne, jetty, posts, fence or sign.

Anything in a thread entitled 'first try with 10 stop filter' or similar

f1.4 pictures of kids looking wide eyed and soulful. Kids never look like that outside of the time it took for that exposure to be made!

'Art nude' and bodyscaping...yawn. Extra bored to tears points if it's in low key monochrome.

white background studio portraits

Random cutlery on white bachground

Street photography of people from the knee down.

Most rig shots of cars

Fisheye shots of most things

orbs, light trails any just about any of that 'creative' light painting.

Probably more but these seem to be the most common!

... and people who justify poor camera work with "well, its my art and that's how I like it"

The obsession every Instagram user seems to have with getting a blurred background!

"I can see you have painted round the subject, as some of the background is still in focus moron!!!!!!" :bonk::bonk:

I am sure Robert took the comment in good fun, if not I would like to think he is man enough to speak up for himself. But for your benefit I will explain something. As everybody was revealing what pictures they were sick of seeing, I thought I would see what genre Robert was into and post that up as my pet hate  So yes I was a little surprised that the search came up with nothing, which is why I answered as I did, and at the end of the day really has nothing to do with you. As for being personal about Robert`s work  I have not seen any of it yet :D You seem to enjoy going around in threads trying to incite arguements, it wont work with me mate I get up far to early in the morning to be caught out ;)

Window lit shots where the subject is staring out of the window.

Milky water, particularly ones with that bloody wooden pier thing in the centre.

Models in wheat fields as mentioned above.

Any flash portraits where there is a harsh shadow on the wall behind them. Move them away from the wall.

Wonky horizons. I'm always doing them. It drives me nuts.

OH GOD YES

I forgot to mention.

Clowns
Circus dwarfs
Continental cheeses
Baby Cheeses
Ice cubes
Volcanoes
Hawaiiii (Never could spell hawawaieee)
Wilderbeast sweeping majestically
Squirrels (tree rats)
Kids on bouncy castles
Wedding cakes
Ordinary cakes
Kids with webbed feet
kids that look like Pirates.
Adults dressed as pirates
Postmen
Postmans transport
Eddie Stobart lorries
Vintage cars
Ban the bomb protesters
Eco warriors
Wedding photographers who wear camera bras!!!!!! Oh yesh

I like aeroplanes.

I can name one hairless animal that has, in fact, "evolved" and wasn't "bred like that" ;) (hint: my avatar is of one)

I don't really have a "pet hate" with photography. I have things I don't enjoy doing myself but nothing I hate really. Maybe when I've been around the forum longer, I'll change my mind

Wedding photographers seem to be getting into them.
Are they called camera holsters or something. you can clip 2 bodies to the bras. Most go over the shoulders and across the chest.

But you t *** a guest in the head with a long lens as you squeeze between tables.

heres one worn by Fly TVR :clap::lol::razz:

Can you hear the watch chimes? Can you?

Or like this from Camera King. Camera in the front and a small piglet can go in the back.

That'll be a sphynx - as bred from a mutant by crossing it with its mother? Similarly, the Russian varieties were bred from mutants but from a slightly wider gene pool.
