I Want a Nikon F100

A Hasselblad I think, away you go gents.....

Well, it arrived this morning along with a completely minty 50mm f1.8 from Vintage Classic Cameras. It is like a new one, absolutely lovely, pics will be posted in the appropriate thread after it has had a run out to the Lakes this weekend.

Cheers and thanks for all the err...ummm...help?

Left my D700 at home yesterday and spent the day with my F100, F80 and a Fuji X10 compact for my digital fix. I'd forgotten how nice the F100 was to handle, much nicer than the F80, and dare I say it, the D700. With a 20mm lens on, it felt nicely balanced and just the right weight to spend the day with. Definitely going to be using it more this year!

I had the weekend with the F100 and it is stunningly good to use. AF is v quick with Nikon 28-105mm attached and its a really nice camera to carry around.
Looking forward to getting the pics back next week to see if it all adds up to goos stuff.

I kept looking at them on Ffordes website for ages. In the end they had a sale on F80's and I took one of those for a bargain 50 quid. It's a lovely little camera but I'm still not certain that I made the right choice. Those F100's look very nice.
