You want to try laminate flooring...

Yup, I'm using a plumb bomb, nobody is trapped, everyone is accounted for (including the cat). No strange lumps but we've lost a window![]()
In the flat we moved from last year, we had it in the big living room, the hallway, and our bedroom.
I took it up, and came to the new house, where we put it in :
The living room
The hallway downstairs
Our bedroom
Our daughters bedroom
Our sons bedroom
So yup, I've 'tried' laminate flooring
The living room is looking a bit tatty now, I think I could do with getting it scrubbed and polished, no idea where to start though.
Aaaand I'm finished for the night. Got halfway to the front door, and up the stairs on one side (mostly)
Gonna finish it tomorrow![]()
You moved house and took the laminate flooring with you.
Out of curiosity Marcel, normally when selling a property the floor coverings are included in the sale, if you sold the flat were the buyers ok with that?.
I have never heard of anyone lifting and relaying laminate before.

Thanks Marcel I was reading this thread and laughing at your antics when the wife caught me and wanted to know whats so funny so I let her read it .Guess where we went this morning yep 7 rolls of paper 1 tin of gloss 1 large emulsion loads of stuff to do now so thanks to you Marcel I am now on the decorating roundabout

I am painting my walls when i get my own place
Sod pappering them, two reasons why. I am to short to reach the top of the wall so the paper will be all hanging down, and 2: because i just couldn't be botherd standing up on a ladder xD I'll get vertigo
haha good on you! Painting really is the only way forward! Sod this paper lark.
