Well it feels like that's what I'm trying to do,
every time I change the duvet cover :(

Is it just me or does it take everyone else half a day,
every ounce of patience, and then still come second, in the fight

(Oh and we don't need the old joke about Granddad and the hair spray either :p)

You're doing it wrong,

I can change one in 2 minutes.

:)

Photo's we need photo's.

One would have thought a snake would find it easy to put worm back in a hole

Marc has the doing of it. Even last year I could do it until about August. If you can do it over the landing bannisters, you can give it a good shake and get the cover almost all the way to the bottom. Of course it is much easier to leave it to my wife, although I do try to be as much help as possible now I am able!

Cover inside out

Arms inside and grab the far corners

Shake!

Simples. :D
Tried that, epic fail, on that too :D

Too busy getting annoyed with the damned thing to take pictures :p

You are bloody useless, even a shortarse like me can do it 5 mins :p
A short arse smart arse then :p

Thanks for that Nod,
Now, any tips for the duvet cover?

First practice with putting a pillowcase on then work your way up - Remember now dont try and run before you can walk....

Hire a maid to do it.:)

How does anyone take more than a few mins to do this?

I can't be arsed with too much faff. I will do it one of two ways:

1. lay duvet out on bed. Hold duvet cover in hands and roll it up (a bit like a sock), then roll it down over duvet.
2. (as above), turn inside out, match two corners and then roll over. This takes longer than the first method.

 :D

Trouble with most of these methods are, that my arms just aren't long enough
to span the cover :p

Maybe I should have mentioned that its a "super-king sized" ?

I also find it a very painful experience, it's quite stressful listening to her struggling with an uncooperative duvet....but...fear not... as I often offer vocal support

What a kind person you are

It all sound like it comes under the auspices of housework. Not my field!!

You're not alone. I'll make the bed but she has to do the duvet.

I DONT DOOO DUVETS!
I'm sure they were invented by the devil,
to make us cuss :(
What ever happened to blankets and sheets?

Oh I remember, too much hassle washing them :D

Stop whinging and playing on the PC, just get on with it,

why did god create them anyway
Oh I remember now so we could nag and insult them and to give us something
to laugh at

........................and God created woman. Job done!!
Well I suppose I could just drag a passing one, off the streets

I knew you'd be along shortly :p
Thanks for not disappointing me

I'll tell 'em you said it was OK then
I'm sure they won't mind in that case :)

Getting a duvet cover on is an intelligence test. You've failed ;)

I'd rather you didn't bare me in mind though!

Not the crossing out that was the problem! :D

.....it was the bare (as in naked) rather than the bear it should have been........:p
